best trimmer line I have ever used
I am 72 years old and have used a lot of trimmers and trimmer line. I bought my first Stihl trimmer 30 years ago. Now all my out door power tools are Stihl. I bought this line 2 years ago and it will be the only line I will use. Give it a try and you will never look back, Jim

    Two thumbs up...and a whistle!
Without a doubt, CF3 Pro can’t be beat. I bought a KM131R last year and purchased Quiet Line for the Trimmer Attachment. I have about 400 feet of aluminum fence to trim every week, both sides. The Quiet Line kept snapping off at the trimmer head forcing me to rethread the line. I tried to change my technique and be as careful as possible not to hit the fence. I would stop and feed every 10 feet or less. I soaked the line in water all week thinking it may be too dry and brittle. Nothing worked. ... read more Thought about buying a less powerful Stihl trimmer thinking the KM 131R just has too much power for an aluminum fence. Finally bought a spool of CF3 Pro and tried it. Trimmed the entire fence without snapping the line once. Couldn’t believe it. This line is almost indestructible. The only downside is that I have a spool of Quiet Line that I will now never use.

    Great trimmer line
I purchased a spool of .105 CF3 Pro trimmer line a few months back to test and compare to other trimmer lines I use on a regular basis. This trimmer line stacks up very well when compared to other .105 line I have used in the past and this CF3 Pro line has become a favorite of mine. I've used it to maintain weekly lawns all the way to cutting heavily overgrown and matted grass and weeds. When you pair this line with a Stihl trimmer you have a very unbeatable pair. You do have to be careful ... read more around fence posts and other wood items as the line is aggressive enough to dig in and scar up the wood. Otherwise there is no reason not to buy this trimmer line.

    Great Trimmer Line
Have been using the Pentagon line for years in.095 size with AutoCut 25 head. The pentagon line cuts faster and is more aggressive than round line. Just switched to the .105 size line, better cutting than the .095 and last much longer. Check your cutter head to see if you can use the larger size line. You'll spend less time reloading the spool. I have 40 acres and spend about 2 hours a week trimming, so not having to reload the spool or tap to extend the line as often is a great help.

    Better performance than square line
I used square line it is also good but this pentagon line is better for cutting heavy grass

    Great trimmer sting
Have used many types of trimmer sting in my day and when I bought my fs70 it came with the trimmer and I thought it was going to be a joke like most sting that comes with a trimmer but no this line is tough I can edge along walk ways and drive ways of my clients homes and my home and not have to replace it I was cutting through thick weeds and still did not have to replace it.

Tough line for a tough trimmer
So we relocated to a wooded area with the dreaded Kudzu vines.. these are tenacious vines that strangle the trees and we are working to eradicate them from the property. Normally, my FS131R is on grass duty but when we went for the thick stuff... all I had was my orange line and the torque monster trimmer. Honestly a blade would have been a better bet, but not an option that Sunday. Nevertheless the “Quiet Line” cuts well, holds up to some pretty wretched abuse and is just as easy to use and ... read more feed from the spool as any. Now yes it gets caught up in the really thick vines, but the smaller stuff it managed to clip through in a few passes... pretty tough! I’m not completely sold on the “quite” feature but I am sold on the toughness! Not the cheapest line, but worth it in my opinion!

    Great for grass clearing
The quiet line is great for clearing normal and thick grass, but not for brush. This line is also very well constructed to you do not have to bump out new line every time you use your string trimmer.

    Great Trimmer Line
I have a habit of buying different brands and types of line for our trimmers- I've tried them all- Gator-Black Diamond-Ugly, but this is one of my favorites. The X-Line cuts grass as well as small saplings- you can hear and feel the string tearing into the weeds. Also it doesn't fuse together in the spool like others do.

one of the best lines out there
as ive said in the heading this line is some of the best cuttin line out there the durability could be a little better but all in all this line is very hard to beat as far as cuttin ability goes anybody out there wantin to buy this line wont be disappointed FACT

    Increase your Yardage Per Gallon.
This is the best line I've ever used. Bought this for my new FS90 after I used up the Quite line that came on it. No comparison the X Line cuts twice as fast. Is tough will blow thru waist high grass and black berries with only a single pass. But with normal trimming it increased the amount of Yardage I can cut on a tank by nearly double. And it is quite durable when used near fencing and rocks. But be very careful near underpinning it will easily blow thru it. Oops!

    Tough Round Line Heavy Brush
This line came on my trimmer and expectedly it works perfectly for my lawn care needs in Miami. Now with a move to a large property in North Carolina the needs have changed and the vegetation is tough and thick! I used this to cut through tall grass, very small saplings, and tree climbing vines that are choking the edges of the property! There are better tools for this kind of abuse, yes, but it handled this work as well without needing to change heads and cutting tools! Pretty tough stuff to ... read more handle that kind of out of scope work.

0.105 Round Red Line best all round, won't eat your spools.
I have the Combo string trimmer/pole saw, in constant use since 2012. It came with OEM 0.095 orange line.I was very glad to see the end of that spool. The 0.105 Round Red line reliably beats its way thru tough weed stems and doesn't eat the spool like most of the more magical high tech lines do, in my experience. Reliable performance. Resists welding itself together on the spool better that most I've tried.

    .08 stihl trimmer string
Best string on the market. I have bought other string and had to restring every job if not more. Switched to stihl's .08 string and with only one wound I did 8 different properties with running out and I still don't have to rewind.

    Good line
At work we use an octagon line not stihl brand with a 130r trimmer there's times a feel it doesnt cut good enough. But with this premium round line in my 56 trimmer i dont feel it lacking anything in cutting normal trimmed areas. But only down fall ive noticed it doesn't work on woody weeds that arent cut regularly. So if your only trimming weekly-biweekly area this is a good line for the money.

    Clean Cutting Round Line
When the Orange line ran out on my spools after some really tough cutting on the new property I replaced it with a smaller diameter .080 line that has proven to be surgical while using it. The cut is nice and clean where the broad sword of the thicker line caused a bit of a tougher cut to the grass. If you drag the thinner line in the dirt, along concrete or into thick vegetation it will scrub away quicker, but for trimming up the thinner stuff is perfect and the premium line seems to function ... read more on the spool without much fuss as all. I like the quality and performance of the line thus far and honestly can’t say a negative thing about it. It performs as expected and then some.
