    A beast of a trimmer
I recently purchased the Stihl FS 100 RX for my lawn care business. I was looking for a trimmer with plenty of power and torque for regular trimming as well as heavy duty trimming. I also wanted a lightweight trimmer that wouldn't wear me out by the end of the day. I was able to find all of those qualities in the Stihl FS 100 RX. I have no issues using this trimmer for weekly lawn maintenance as well as heavy duty grass clearing jobs. It is definitely one beast of a trimmer that will be a very ... read more valuable item in my lawn care business.

    Impressive Trimmer
This trimmer is very impressive. It is very very powerful. I am 15 years old and am still getting used to this power. I mow quite a few lawns every week, so I needed to buy a reliable trimmer. I use this for trimming and edging and it works great.

    Love it!
This is the best trimmer I've ever used. Been in the lawncare business for 15 years now and have used a lot of products. This trimmer beats them all by a long run. Some say the price is a little high but you get what you pay for. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, light weight trimmer that you can sling around real quick from a flat edge to a straight edge I don't even run it full throttle. I'd probably take off flying if I attempted that. Buy this trimmer and never look back.

You get what you pay for.
A good bit of power with the option adding attachments lilke a mini tiller or broom. I have the string trimmer/brushcutter combo. The only drawback I see with what I have is the chisel tooth blade for the brushcutter. It works well but dulls rather easily. A factory issued, easily available carbide blade would be perfect. Had but a minor problem with it being stubborn to start. Brought it back to the dealer. Took it away running like a top after 10 minutes and no charge either. Get quality ... read more premium fuel and oil for it and it won't let you down.

    Excellent Trimmer!
This trimmer is probably overkill for my 2 acre rural property, but I can swing it as fast as possible through thick, knee-height grass without bogging the engine down. It has plenty of power to take down saplings if needed. This thing starts easily, usually one or two pulls. It runs well and vibrations are minimal. I can run a couple tanks of fuel non-stop without numb hands or discomfort. The harness is worth its weight in gold. For a marginal price increase over the 110, it was totally worth it.

    Excellent trimmer, plenty of power
This is by far the best trimmer I have ever used and I've used a lot of brands. Has plenty of power even for the thickest grass and brush. Definitely spend the little bit extra and get the fs130 over the others. I only paid an extra $30 for the fs130 over the fs110 and I'm glad, not that the fs110 is bad but it makes sense to pay the 30 bucks extra for the bigger engine and more power. Also glad I got the one with the bike handles it really saves my back.

    a true workhorse
this is hands down the best trimmer ever made , i was totally amazed with the power , i cut 3ft high weeds and grass down like it was nothing and i was only using trimmer line , im a landscaper and most of my business is trimming for hours at a time , this is the best trimmer ive ever owned and i have used other brands but nothing compares to this one and it uses only half of the fuel the other trimmers did ,

Wish I would have bought one 40 years ago
This is my 4th weedeater in 40 years, but my first Stihl. I bought the low end Pro grade FS110, and love it. It starts on the first pull, cuts everything I can throw at it, and has power to spare. Wish I had bought a Stihl 40 years ago, it costs a lot more then the competition, but the difference between them is like night and day. Going forward, I intend to replace all my outdoor tools with Stihl products.

Great product for cutting grass or brush
I have had several smaller cheap weed eaters in the past. They were all too weak and didn't last. I was buying one every year. A friend who runs a small engine repair shop and lawn care business recommended a Stihl. It was the first Stihl product I had ever owned. So far I am getting my money's worth. I was so impressed with the brush cutter that I have since purchased a Stihl chainsaw and a blower. Stilh lives up to its reputation.

    Stihl FS 310
Purchased to cut brush on 20 acres. This product does the trick. I have cut 3 1/2 " trees with this cutter. Has alot of power. I am cutting brush, small saplings, briars, thick vines of 40 yrs on family farm. My father has stihl FS 90 v. The only negative thing is the bicycle handles. I think they are too wide. I guess that I should do a Youtube video on the cutter. I did alot of research before buying this stihl product. the sales rep at local stihl dealer recommended the fs- 250. I did not want ... read more to go to small of a cutter.

Good power for woody material up to 3.5"
Due to the fire danger of fuel build up, I bought a FS310 to clear the sagebrush from under the pine trees on 20 acres. For clearing brush, this machine beats a chainsaw due to three things; no more bending over, no more throwing chain, and only 22 teeth to sharpen! I was torn between the FS310 and the FS250. My dealer talked me into the FS310. This is my first 4 mix machine. I am very happy he steared me this direction. The machine has plenty of power and fuel efficiency. For clearing woody ... read more stems it is nice to have the big chassis and vibration system. It'll take out 3.5" stems in one hit. If I move to the other side of the stem, I can hit it again and take out 5-6" boles. At 4480' mine had a slight low end bog. At the 40 hour valve adjustment, the dealer adjusted the carb to take care of that. Now, it's broken in and just plain screams!

    Excellent Machine
I wanted a higher power trimmer for both string trimming and cutting small trees. The FS 310 was more money than I wanted to spend but after the dealer showed the the features such as vibration dampening & full harness I decided to buy it and I have never regretted it! My home is 20 acres and I can spend hours trimming and clearing with the FS 310. The vibration damping is great along with the power of this machine. I am amazed at the size of tree I can cut down. This is my fifth Stihl product ... read more and I happy with each one. The quality is excellent.

This trimmer/brush cutter is truly amazing
I purchased my Stihl FS130R because of very good reviews from other users and the price compared to other brands. I needed something I could put a steel blade on to knock out blackberry bushes and wild rose bushes. I have used both a 12" T2 blade with curved tips and 10" Stihl T3 blade and they both work great. I have blasted through the blackberries and rose bushes in nothing flat with some of the stalks up to 1 inch in diameter. The FS130R is definitely one awesome machine that makes brush cutting fun.

    Pretty good
I can't lie and say it's great bc it's not just unbelievably better than my 110 I had stolen, but it is good. I will say it fires up on the first pull 9 outta 10 times which is great. The power just doesn't seem to be the jump I was expecting from the move up from my 110. I haven't tried any of my attachments on it yet but hoping it's better with the increased torque.

I bought this machine because the cheap "Orange" one I bought at Lowe's was shooting oil out of the exhaust. This is the third one! When starting this machine for the first time which was the first pull I knew by the feel and sound this was going to be a new experience. I cut what normally takes an hour and a half to twenty five minutes.. This thing is a beast!! If you want to save time and have a great product go spend the money now!!!! I will buy only Stihl from now on!!

    Release the BEAST!!!
This trimmer was doing a good job on my 1 acre property but I wasn't impressed with the quality of the line. The factory line was breaking much more frequently than my 4 cycle Troy Built trimmer running .095. I attributed that due to the increased power of the Stihl. HOWEVER, after purchasing the .105 line I was able to RELEASE THE BEAST!!! WOW....It cuts through any and all things and the breakage (hence time spent replacing) is greatly reduced!!! Buy the .105 line and you too can "RELEASE THE BEAST"!!!

Very heavy duty, but light wieght to carry
This product works as designed and very easy to use. Grass blade attachment helps for thicker and heavy weeds. Very happy with the service form this weed eater. I did allot of research on the product and this was the best fit for my needs. Worth paying the extra money for this Stihl.

    one of the best trimmers
I have had this trimmer for about 1 1/2 years now and it is one of the most dependable stihl products i own. Easy starting (1pull) plenty of power and will cut just about anything within reason. With one of the blades that are available their isn"t much you can"t cut .My only problem i had was the bump feed head that came with it.The line would weld up inside on me. I put an autocut head on and that seems to have eliminated that .I own numerous stihl products (chainsaws, hedger, blower) and this is my favorite.
