    Great product
The SR200 is well made and functions great. It does not have tremendous blowing power like a backpack blower. It functions well as a sprayer but will not double as a powerful blower, although you can use it for light blower duty. The fluid regulation is consistent and easy to control. Motor starts easily and idles fine while moving is around as you put it on your back. The unit is heavy with the fluid tank full, but is manageable. Very pleased with product and price point is very ... read more competitive. Highly recommended.

Love the versatility of this sprayer.
I wasn't sure which sprayer to purchase, the SR 200 or the 450. My local Stihl dealer had used both and suggested for my needs the SR200 was big enough. I'm glad I followed his recommendation as the 200 is heavy enough when fully loaded with product. It has made my yard applications much easier than using a manual sprayer. I am really happy I made the investment. We can now enjoy the outdoors without mosquitos driving us crazy.

    Perfect for my needs!
We had hired a mosquito control company to do what they do. I was home one day and watched the tech! He had the Stihl sr200 he walked around my house and yard and was done in less than 10 minutes! Next day I went and purchased my own! I do my 1 acre and my friends acre! It is simple and easy to use, does exactly what you want it to do. Payed for it self the first year, now my mosquito and tick control is free. I'm 60 year's old and wish they made this unit years ago!

Great machine - slightly heavy when full
I live next to a cattail slew with 2 ponds right behind my house - lots of Mosquito's. This sprayer has made my yard usable in the summer - works perfect for covering a large area - I have 4 acres of yard. Starts easy, a little awkward to put on when full and slightly heavy - sprays beautiful and only takes around 15 minutes and 2 fills to get my whole area done. I have on order the extra pump to keep it primed when you aim the sprayer up into the tree's. I also use this to spray 2 apple tree's ... read more and can cover a tree in seconds.

easy to use, heavy to wear.
bought the SR 450 and put it to the test right away by puting 60 gallons through it at a campground. first impression was that it was very heavy and awkward when full. The Stanley manual pump backpack sprayer that i own has more padding and a chest strap. I struggled with the shoulder straps digging into my shoulders. The power was good and the flow takes some getting used to. Easy to over apply if not careful. ready to find new straps and keep on spraying.

The best and most reliable mister/blower on the market.
Stihl SR 450 is a beast period. It is great for large areas and extra large areas. If you aren't using this product you are selling yourself, your company, and your customers short. The Stihl SR 450 has more power to get way into wooded areas and up into trees and dense foliage. When full it can be a bit heavy, but the upside is you can get alot more area serviced. If you own a pest control company and this is not in your arsenal of tools. You are not on the cutting edge of premier service. Buy it now!

    Stihl, always quality!
Stihl products do exactly what they are suppose to do and many others don't. When I pick up any of the 6 items I own I want them to start and perform as expected. Very first Stihl product I bought was without much knowledge of what I expected. It didn't perform. Took it back next day, upgraded after a discussion of what I expected and since then all my products have performed as I expected because the dealer took the time to consult with me.

ok i ran 6 of these all summer
they do ok, but when it gets hot, the have issues starting even when running all day. Vapor lock i suspect is the issue. They are a bit particular with the blend of fuel, we were very careful to use 91 octane, no ethanol gas and mixed it ourselves as close to perfect as possible. Never broke, just running issues, had to rebuild carbs a few times but they ran 50 plus hours a week easy. these could use a much better designs backpack pad, larger as in wider thicker shoulder pads, and a hip belt, ... read more padded would be good as well. 8 to 10 hours a day up and down hills ect it wears on you. a padded hip belt would seriously help along with a better pad design.

    Does the trick.for me
I bought the SR 430 to spray my apple trees. It works great for the purpose which I intend. Yes it's heavy, yet it's manageable once on your back. There's no way to get around the weight. It's going to be heavy. On the positive side it works so well I do my trees in half the time. I have thought of putting it in a cart or on one of my ATV's Anyhow I'm please with it. I wanted serious tool, not some piece of junk to spray trees which many retailers seem to be selling for hundreds of dollars. This ... read more machine can also be used as a leaf blower in the fall. The way I look at it you get two tools in one. Oh and by the way my local Stilhl dealer was great. Stihl isn't inexpensive but you get what you pay for. I own other Stihl products and have been happy with them also.
