STIHL offers a select line of landscaping sprayers, each one specially designed to meet your unique spraying tasks. For outdoor jobs – like spraying orchards or spraying both liquid or granular materials requiring greater range and high pressure – STIHL gasoline-powered backpack sprayers deliver power, comfort and ease of use.

For smaller areas that require greater accuracy and control, a STIHL manual backpack sprayer combines constant pressure and ease of use with little maintenance.

When you need a fast, no-hassle sprayer that goes anywhere, turn to a STIHL handheld sprayer. They’re ideal for households, gardens and even professional applications, offering excellent portability and dependability.

    Perfect for my needs!
We had hired a mosquito control company to do what they do. I was home one day and watched the tech! He had the Stihl sr200 he walked around my house and yard and was done in less than 10 minutes! Next day I went and purchased my own! I do my 1 acre and my friends acre! It is simple and easy to use, does exactly what you want it to do. Payed for it self the first year, now my mosquito and tick control is free. I'm 60 year's old and wish they made this unit years ago!

Love the versatility of this sprayer.
I wasn't sure which sprayer to purchase, the SR 200 or the 450. My local Stihl dealer had used both and suggested for my needs the SR200 was big enough. I'm glad I followed his recommendation as the 200 is heavy enough when fully loaded with product. It has made my yard applications much easier than using a manual sprayer. I am really happy I made the investment. We can now enjoy the outdoors without mosquitos driving us crazy.

    Great product
The SR200 is well made and functions great. It does not have tremendous blowing power like a backpack blower. It functions well as a sprayer but will not double as a powerful blower, although you can use it for light blower duty. The fluid regulation is consistent and easy to control. Motor starts easily and idles fine while moving is around as you put it on your back. The unit is heavy with the fluid tank full, but is manageable. Very pleased with product and price point is very ... read more competitive. Highly recommended.

A must have in my orchard
Bought this stihl for spraying my small orchard of 60 apple trees. Cut my spray usage in half from my Utv mounted sprayer, and cut my time by at least half. The throttle limiter allows me to adjust for overspray between my various size trees. Happy to say No leaks after a season of spraying. The tailgate on my truck is the perfect height for getting the sprayer on and off my back( it’s a little heavy and awkward to lift off the ground with a full tank of spray). Overall very happy, Another great ... read more product from Stihl.

    Amazing!
This sprayer is amazing! This is the best one out there. I have years of experience with the 200 and the 450. The 450 has a major flaw (If you want my un-solicited opinion). The 450 has a tank that you can remove and switch around 180 degrees if you wanna switch between a granular or liquid pesticide. The problem is that if you use it commercially and leave liquid in it while traveling, the lateral motion of the liquid sloshing around will eventually wear out the gaskets that seal the tank. I ... read more don't care what you do after that happens you will never get a good seal again, you might as well throw away the whole thing. So if you have the 450 make sure you use all the liquid after every use. Anyway I purchased this (430) blower because the tank is permanently mounted to the backpack. So far I love it and haven't seen any flaws. It is just a larger more powerful version of the bulletproof 200. Oh, and another point is always use premium gas in any Stihl. They get really tempermental otherwise.

ok i ran 6 of these all summer
they do ok, but when it gets hot, the have issues starting even when running all day. Vapor lock i suspect is the issue. They are a bit particular with the blend of fuel, we were very careful to use 91 octane, no ethanol gas and mixed it ourselves as close to perfect as possible. Never broke, just running issues, had to rebuild carbs a few times but they ran 50 plus hours a week easy. these could use a much better designs backpack pad, larger as in wider thicker shoulder pads, and a hip belt, ... read more padded would be good as well. 8 to 10 hours a day up and down hills ect it wears on you. a padded hip belt would seriously help along with a better pad design.

A little heavy, but does a great job.
I purchased this sprayer to apply mosquito insecticide. I am surrounded by large trees/woods and this sprayer was able to get the liquid up high where it needed to be. Once I learned how to control the amount of liquid and the rpm's things couldn't have gone better. For bushes/shrubs I found that less rpm's works best and doesn't damage the foliage. When needed the sprayer has the power to reach out a long way into the woods, I'd say about thirty feet or more. I am going to order the optional ... read more hip belt to help make things a little more secure. Great product. I have three Stihl chainsaws and now this sprayer, love Stihl.

    Machine is a beast!
I bought my Stihl back in the spring of 2014 when I opened my company and I can tell you now finishing up my 4th mosquito season and servicing over 90 customers a month that this machine is practically bullet proof. Throttled out on an acre of property with nothing but English ivy it works like a champ. Use Stihl 2 cycle oil as recommended and change the plug every season and you'll be very happy. The diffuser design on the end could use some reworking, but a small tent bungee strap rigging on its fine.

The best and most reliable mister/blower on the market.
Stihl SR 450 is a beast period. It is great for large areas and extra large areas. If you aren't using this product you are selling yourself, your company, and your customers short. The Stihl SR 450 has more power to get way into wooded areas and up into trees and dense foliage. When full it can be a bit heavy, but the upside is you can get alot more area serviced. If you own a pest control company and this is not in your arsenal of tools. You are not on the cutting edge of premier service. Buy it now!
