Easy start, easy mobility, lightweight hose
Starts on the first pull and you don't have to overcome or relieve the water pressure. If the engine is running and water isn't used the unit releases water to cool the pump. The unit is easy to move. The hose is lightweight and flexible. The hose connections are screw on and easy to hook up and unhook.

    RB400 does everything
I have used my RB400 for about three weeks. It has cleaned deck, sidewalk, gutters, soffit, vinyl siding, truck, gas grill. Everything was cleaned great. Only problem I had was that when I had the engine running on the grass for about ten minutes without moving the engine, I found dead grass about 2ft square the next day. I thought that the exhaust from the engine was too hot. I changed the exhaust vent direction to move it direction up higher rather than straight down onto the grass. Easy thing ... read more to do just move two screws. No this RB400 if perfect for me.

    It’s Stihl .... so it’s awesome!
I’ve had the RB400 for a year now. It’s worked flawlessly every time I’ve used it. Only issue I had is one tire was flat when I bought it. I aired it up and it was flat again next use. BUT, no biggy because I’m not rolling it miles down the street. One thing I did, and I wish Stihl did is put an hour meter on it. They aren’t that expensive and how are you supposed to know when you have hit 30 hrs to change your oil if you don’t install one? I just think that Stihl should add this. But again, I ... read more will always buy Stihl products because they ARE awesome!

    This unit is a beast
I bought from the big box store and it worked fine for a while. I finally got tired of replacing carburetors and the lack of power. This unit is extremely heavily built. It makes short work of big jobs and in my opinion will quickly make up the cost difference in how much faster it cleans.

For the price it's right around what anyone else is charging for a 4.0gpm 4300 psi. When buying stihl you pay a little more but there's a reason.
After about 6 hours of use I had an unloader issue that Stihl immediately fixed 4 free, and when I say immediately I mean 2 days no charge no hassles. Since then I've put 20 hours on it and have washed 7 houses and have had no other issues what so ever.

    Heavy Duty grime pealer
Dude. This thing rocks. I always thought the hydraulic hoses on my mowers were black. Turns out, they were just greasy and are actually a pearly white. Really accentuates the red well. I thought I would be there all day getting the grease off my equipment. Without detergent, this bad mama jama swooped the jam right off the toast if you knowmsayin. Can't wait to set it free in the spring on driveways, roofs, siding etc. The wand is probably the most comfortable to hold that I've ever held, and ... read more didn't fatigue me over the three hours I used it. Just make sure you know what you're doing, as with great power comes great responsibility.

A Must Have Accessory For Your Stihl Pressure Washer.
I own a Stihl RB 400 Dirt Boss Pressure Washer. I’ve had it for two years now and I use it to keep the driveway as well our pool cool deck clean. I’ve done that job three times now just using the wand from the Pressure Washer. This week I purchased the Stihl Rotary Surface Cleaner.... what a difference this made. It’s safe to say this product cut the work in half. If you own a Stihl Pressure Washer and didn’t purchase the Stihl rotary surface cleaner you need to go back and get ... read more one....and the wand connects directly to the rotary surface cleaner.... no special tools no special connectors required.

    Excellent
I recently purchased this accessory to do driveways and decks. I have used it to clean my driveway and numerous friend’s and neighbor’s driveways and decks. It is a real time saver. You can’t move too fast with it or it won’t clean completely but it is much faster than using just a nozzle. I highly recommend it.

    Game Changer
Does the job without soaking your shoes. Bristle ring more dense than what I was used to on my smaller, older, and cheaper surface cleaner. The Stihl runs quietly and keeps the over spray mostly contained within the housing. It will remove green algae from your concrete, which my old one could not. The cleaner will clean all the way to the surface edge: it was not bothered by adjacent mulch or river rock beds. Technique different from using your 'spray and pray' lance. Slow constant motion ... read more seems to work best. I found it easiest to draw the cleaner towards me. Side to side motion also works, but is somewhat hampered by the bristle ring design. I run a 3000 psi washer; It may work even better with a higher pressure pump. Components are well machined and put together. It made short work of the concrete around my built-in pool with a nice homogeneous finished appearance. I am very happy with the purchase.

    Great washer for home use
This is an easy to use, powerful washer. Great for decks and siding cleanup. I can’t imagine too many home jobs that need more power than this unit. No issues with the Kohler engine. Simple and easy to operate. Make sure not to leave running long without operating the wand and allowing water to flow. The water will heat up and the increased heat and pressure will eventually reduce seal service life. Just shut it down if you aren’t using it for several minutes. This is a good quality washer that ... read more will last a long time with some basic maintenance. Remember to change the oil after the first 3-5 hours. The first oil change is the most important.

    Be Careful
I bought the RB 200, took it home, cleaned a really dirty 2000 sq ft deck in two hours. BE CAREFUL. I burned a hole in the pressure hose 5 minutes after I started. The exhaust is directly above the connector for the hose. It looped up and rested on the exhaust cover and that was it. even with the burn hole, it performed wonderfully. I had to wrap some plastic over the hole with gorilla tape and it still leaked but the deck is clean.

it is a Stihl with a Kohler engine so.....
it is a Stihl with a Kohler engine so.....It if perfect. Easy set up and use. Power washed for 5 hours first use. Plenty of power for me, easily cleaned concrete, brick pavers, and any other surface I aimed it at!! Long term would expect it to be trouble free like my other Stihl products.

    Best pressure washer out there
I have owned many pressure washers over the years. By far this is my favorite one. Big power, small frame, low noise, well made connectors, and stihl covers everything.... Even the Kohler motor! I bought every attachment. The 3 nozzle floor attachment with 2 caster wheels... AMAZING! The multi size adjustable nozzle.... Top notch. I literally have nothing negative at all to say about this equipment. I guess my only complaint is that there is nothing to complain about.

    American Made?
The Kohler Engine is suppose to be produced in the USA. I hope STIHL produced the framing in the USA. The handle of the pressure washer says CHINA. I buy american made products when ever possible. I have cleaned my fish cleaning station and boat. It worked as it should. The cart is very easy to move. The bushings used on the engine soak up the vibrations. One concern is the kill switch. We will see how long that lasts. I used it for 2hrs and still had a bit of gas. It's pretty ... read more efficient. At this time I will give it an A.

    1st Class Pressure Washer
With the right accessories available it has made it far better wash decking, concrete floors, the driveway and even the pool cover which is filled with algae every spring. A better job taking less time. It can handle multiple hose extensions as well.
