    Great stuff
I was not the most impressed with the cost of this fuel, but after over a year of using it, I have come to like it. Using gas & oil mix, I'd use 1-2 gallons of gas & oil mix a year. The 1 gallon container would not get used in a timely manner, and I ended up pouring the gas/oil mix in my old gas tractor, which did not seem to mind it. On my gas powered Stihl equipment, using gas/oil, I would drain the fuel out, I'd start it up, and let it run till it died, after each use, if going to set idle ... read more for a while. Don't have to do that anymore using the pre-mix fuel. I wouldn't mind if the price came down a bit. If I was a heavy fuel user, I would probably still be mixing the gas/oil. Unfortunately, no fuel suppliers near where we live sell ethanol free fuel anymore. If using this MotoMix fuel eliminates carb issues, and helps my Stihl equipment last longer, so be it. A note to Stihl, go back to the round cans. They seem to pour better that the square can, at least that is my take on it. I now pour the square can of fuel into the round can, that was before the square one. Dealer stated that the square can has a handle, well, so what.

    Awesome When Used
I agree with concensus that Motomix is great product but not cheap. If your an occasional user it is MUCH cheaper than service and frustration of neglected carburetor or the mortal sin of accidently straight gassing! I only use ethanol free fuel and Stihl Ultra Synthetic Oil when mixing my gas (my local Country Mark Fuel has an ethanol free pump). I still use Motomix in my small blower and trimmer that sip fuel. I also put in my chainsaws to store for summer. Home town fire department uses ... read more Motomix to insure easy start of saws when needed and preventing accidentally filling from straight gas can.

    Jet Fuel for Chainsaws
I purchased a MS362 last year. The only gas that has graced its tank has been Motomix. The stuff is SUPER expensive but the performance cant be denied. I take pride in my saw and don't mind spending the extra money while using only the finest products. Friends were skeptical while felling trees and getting whiffs of the Motomix exhaust, which kind of smells like fryer oil. Their questions diminished quickly once Motomix replaced their regular mix on our next gas up. Pricey but legit, Its like ... read more jet fuel for your chainsaw.

Best fuel container on the market hands down.
I have purchased ten of these containers, 4 one and one quarter gallon, 4 of the five gallon and 2 of the two and one half gallon size. They work just as described. No spill I donated seven of these and kept a 1 1/4 and 2 fives for my self. On my fives I usually put in 3 to 4 gallons as it is easier to lift. and then as I empty one I can switch to the other one for my mower and pressure washer. I like the 1 1/4/. The small nozzle is just right for my chain saws, blower, edger and weedeater.

    Chuck your other gas cans!
A glowing review of a gas can? Yes sir! Other spill-mitigation systems can be cheap, difficult to use, and easy to break. I've gone through several. But this one? Push the button. No twisting cheap plastic rings into cheap plastic grooves and praying it doesn't break, no frustration at all actually, and I love the clear stripe that lets you see exactly how much gas is in the thing. It's a point-and-push operation.

    Great fuel can
I have purchased a bunch of these cans for gas, mix fuel, diesel and they're great for the simple fact that you don't spill unless you overfill. Since they don't make a can dedicated to mix fuel I use the blue kerosene one and label it mix. The only downfall is I've had a handful of o-rings fall off into the can without knowing causing it to leak when filling machines but that could have just been my guys being careless screwing the spout on early in the morning.

Winter Bar & Chain Oil Will Flow When Your Coffee's Frozen !
I use Winter Bar & Chain Oil in place of Platinum Bar & Chain Oil on the coldest of cutting days. The summer Oils will turn to molasses or jello at some point. The end result of that could be a "toasted" Bar! If you are still using Woodcutter Bar & Chain Oil, your switch-over to Winter Bar & Chain Oil should occur sooner as it thickens quicker than Platinum Bar & Chain Oil will at a given temperature. Remember, the newer Saws deliver less Oil to the Bar & Chain than the older models do, so ... read more your switch-over point may be more critical depending which Oil & Saw you have. Stihl, please color-code these Oils so we know what is in our Saw!!!

    For the really cold days
I keep a quart around for the really cold days. In all honesty when the saw is warmed up I just run the Platinum Bar Lube and I haven’t had any issues. For the really really cold days this does flow better through the pump and onto the bar. It protects well but I switch when the temperature gets above 20F.

Platinum Bar Oil is a CUT-ABOVE the Rest !
I was skeptical at first browse of this product. I thought, at the time, there was no good reason to swap from my many years of using Woodcutter Bar & Chain Oil. This is my first year using Platinum Bar & Chain Oil. What I have discovered is that it takes less overall quantity of this Oil to achieve the same level of lubrication provided by it's predecessor. Another benefit is this Oil is not as temperature-sensitive as the Woodcutter Bar & Chain Oil is. In other words, it will perform ... read more satisfactorily at somewhat lower temperatures before you ultimately need to switch over to Winter Bar & Chain Oil. It will take you some time to get used to having less visible Oil on your Chain, but the proof of proper lubrication is a cool-running Bar that isn't burning the paint off! However, if you have one of the newer Saws, be prepared to turn-up the Oil Quantity setting to near maximum level...even when using Platinum Bar & Chain Oil. I found the "E" setting on my new MS-362,461, & 661 to be too lean with 20", 25", & 32" Bars, respectively. So, I guess this means that the Woodcutter Bar & Chain Oil may be an unsatisfactory choice for proper lubrication on the newer Saws with lower-volume Oil Pumps & newer Bars with smaller Oil Delivery Holes.

    Excellent Product
I have tried cheaper brands with poor results. This oil keeps the chain oiled and bar cooler.

    HP Ultra oil
High Power Ultra oil. Absolutely amazing oil when mixed with 89/91 grade gasoline. I only use this oil in my Stihl equipment and REALLY makes a difference. The engines run SO smooth and clean and the gasoline seems to last longer too! I can not recommend this oil enough. Try it and you will the difference in the first run!

More power in all my Fuel Mix Engines
I tried out the HP Ultra oil to get the extended warranty on my pole pruner, Hedge Trimmer and Blower. They run great with this oil, no super bad odor, no blue smoke, just smooth running engines, BUT what I didn't expect was when I fed it to a 13 year old Husqvarna String Trimmer that had run on Husk'ie oil its whole life. just the beginning of the tank through the machine and it magically picked up what I would estimate to be about 200 RPM and ran much better than before. WOW!! I always use ... read more fresh gas 91RON and factory oil in my machines, so this was a shock!! I expect that STIHL engines would run well on it, but I was shocked about the performance gains in the 13 year old trimmer!!!! I will never run anything else in any of my engines. HP Ultra is well worth the marginal increase in cost.

    The best there is.
I've been using motor oils for years now on my RC plane gas engine and none got to the results this oil did. The engine is cleaner than ever, no carbon on the pistons, the spark plug is very clean but, wet, so the engine is NOT running lean, the exhaust ports are very clean like the day Ive got the engine, and I can tell you this after running more than 35 Gal with it . Before that I ran a different kind of oil, a premium style, that left a lot of carbon in the engine, the STIHL cleaned it all.

    BBQ smoking wood
I cut and use wood for BBQ smoking and always fret about using petroleum based bar oils in regards to health and taste. I've considered using vegetable oil but was not sure which oil to use and how it would perform in a chainsaw. Seeing as how Stihl has their brand on this stuff, I have no doubt that this is what I've been looking for.

healthier for me, lubes the saw well
Unfortunately pricey. Any chainsaw sprays you with bar oil. I like the fact that I smell like french fries at the end of the day rather than petroleum. I would rather breath and bathe in vegetable oil than petrol. The oil washes out of your clothes easily with no residual smell in an ordinary wash. The saw seems to like it just fine. It seems to have a higher viscosity and it seems to use less, but I have not done a scientific side by side test with the regular bar lube. Consistent Viscosity and Environmentally Friendly
I appreciate this Bar Oil and know that I'm not getting misted with petroleum products every time I use my saw and that my saw dust can break down into mulch with no poison on my plants! I can see that old saw dust is breaking down into rich soil over time and this bar oil does not inhibit the biological process at all. Compared to other bar oils BioPlus lubricates better, stays consistent in it's viscosity through every temperature I've worked in and has very little smell. It's truly a winner ... read more of a product! I have used it for years and will continue to buy it. I do not worry about my land and the plants on it when I spread sawdust around. I know nature will take care of it. As far as My Own biology is concerned, if I avoid poisons today, it prevents health problems tomorrow. I'm willing to keep taking this step towards healthier chainsawing.
