    Two thumbs up.
This is a great tool. We wish we would have bought it years ago. Starts easy, runs great, has lots of power, blades last a long time. We are cutting a lot of 2 7/8 inch pipe and some 4 inch makes quick work of it. If you are thinking about one get one you will not be sorry.

    The only saw
I’ve been cutting concrete only for 15 years as a saw cutter nothing but a stihl and the biggest at that I’m a small guy and the power reduces cutting time enough to make up for the weight with a good 16 inch blade it cuts silly fast and last for 7 to 15 years we have 20 trucks all with stihl hand saws the ts 420 line has problems with starting no mater what with a stihl in California weather never use the primer bulb it only floods it the 800 doesn’t need it just freaking starts I’ve started ... read more mine with a boot lace before and used up blades in the thousands this is your handsaw if you want reliable power

This saw is a power house
Heavy saw but very powerful 16" blade will cut through anything

    Built like a Mack truck!
Saws a power house! Runs great, cuts well. Even with dull blades cuts concrete and asphalt no problem. Low maintenance even with multiple operators abusing it. Only negative is she’s a bit heavy

    Great
Great product water only last about 10 min but anything beats breathing in dust for those 10 min.

    very maneuverable
I use the tank with a 420 saw and it makes the saw very maneuverable. I often use this saw to cut walls for basement egress windows and the flexibility of the hose when you are in a hole is awesome. The hose on it is long enough that I don't need to have the tank right next to me which is nice for cramped spaces. The tank also stays pressurized for a good amount of time before needing to get pumped back up. Ditch the garden hose and buy this tank.

Works well, meets new compliance standards
We use these tanks with our cut-off saws cutting concrete, etc. that creates silica dust. These meet compliance, but mostly they do a great job helping keep the saw-blades cool and knocking down the dust.

Great power. A very dependable saw.
I have owned multiple 500i saws and it is the best cutoff saw I've owned or used. I primarilly use mine to cut stone, mostly hard granite. The power to weight ratio is unmatched. Very dependable, starts on the second or third pull every time! My only issue is the auto water feed which is the first thing to go. Still works on my most recently purchased saw but has failed on the older ones. Other than that it's a low maintenance machine, great power, balance, weight and dependability. I would ... read more reccomend this saw over any others on the market.

    Best Saw ever
I use to love the TS400s but since I've purchased this 500 I will not even bother trying to fix the 400s. It is a completely dependable saw, way better then the TS420s, which I bought and did not like, they felt weak. But this TS500i hasn't given me any trouble, it starts up right away and has a whole lot more power. Can't say it enough, Great saw Stihl.

    Use only quality fuel
I am extremely happy with my Stihl TS500i. I replaced my older Stihl carbureted chain saws with the M-tronic fuel management system and could not be happier with the ease of starting and overall performance. I recently decided to replace an older cutoff saw hoping for the same dependability when starting and great performance regardless of the weather. I was not disappointed. This TS500i starts first pull once warmed up and runs perfectly. When the engine is cold, it takes 1 to 4 pulls to start. ... read more Good quality gasoline is the key to Stihls new fuel system. I understand the manual says use less than 10% ethanol. Do yourself a favor and buy gasoline without any ethanol or better yet, use racing fuel, aviation fuel or Stihl fuel. All the additives in today's gasoline gums up fuel systems leading to hard starting and poor performance. It's not the saws fault, it's just bad gas.

    Best Demo Saw
Im a professional concrete paver installer, and I have used all of the brands over the last fifteen years. This model saw is the best. It is the easiest to start, and the filter system is excellent. These saws have been the most reliable, only problem i have ever had is the pull chords are prone to breaking. The handle location on the top of the saw instead of the back like all others, is so much more comfortable and makes the saw more manuverable. Also parts are much more affordable and readily ... read more available compared to all the other brands Ive had, which I think is all of them.

    Everything I expected
After having several TS-350s, some in the stable for 20 years, I upgraded to the TS-410. It is a little bit lighter, but more importantly, it is balance so that you don't feel it is working against you. There is definitely less vibration too. I also bought the STIHL pressurized water tank, primarily cutting concrete roof tile. It takes a little time to determine the right flow of water to minimize water usage while also keeping the slurry diluted enough to run off or recapture the water. So far ... read more I am totally pleased ith the new saw and system.

    Great saw compact and lightweight
This saw is good, lightweight and compact vs a gas powered. My boss (our mayor) has one he uses for his masonry business that we borrowed for our village to do some cutting on 4" ductile iron water line while replacing a fire hydrant. Saw had no clue what it was cutting and went through it very easy. Only thing to make this saw better would be a shroud that you can position to help get a change of angles for easier cutting approaches.

Great Saw but needs a large blade
I love this product but they need to come out with a larger blade. This product is perfect for cutting pavers. I can not cut retaining wall caps which are only 4 inches thick. Drives me crazy. I talked to a few guys at the GI Expo this year about the problem but they did not seem too interested in fixing the problem.

    Excellent!
Bought this saw for use on a tow truck. Don't have to worry if the saw will start because it WILL. You can use it upside-down in confined space to cut. Smaller than the gas one so it takes up less room in the tool box. Makes work at accident site quick and easy. I think the batteries could last a little longer, but it's still not bad for what it is.
