A guide bar made exclusively for the GS 461 STIHL ROCK BOSS® and STIHL Diamond Abrasive Chain 36 GBM.

Product Description

Based on STIHL’s many years of experience designing guide bars and chains, the STIHL ROLLOMATIC® G is a guide bar that is designed for the professional application of concrete and stone cutting. The bar requires no bar oil – it uses water and features internal water channels that are directed toward the cutting area. This delivers optimal cooling and debris flushing of the chain and sprocket nose. The bar also features an additional tensioning hole to further increase chain tensioner travel. The expected service life of the STIHL ROLLOMATIC® G guide bar is equal to the service life to 2-3 STIHL Diamond Abrasive 36 GBM chains. Available in 12 inch and 16 inch sizes.

Applications: This guide bar is to be used exclusively with the GS 461 STIHL ROCK BOSS® concrete cutter and the STIHL Diamond Abrasive Chain 36 GBM; this guide bar is NOT to be used with any other STIHL products, including chainsaws. The bar is designed to cut concrete, reinforced concrete (with rebar up to ½ inch), cinder blocks and masonry (including bricks, asphalt and soft stone such as sandstone).

Reviews

STIHL ROLLOMATIC® G Guide Bar is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stihl Quality I have owned the Rock Boss for a few years using it for cutting Egress Windows and doors in basement walls as well as brick walls and concrete floors. I have had gotten a good amount of cutting done with each chain/bar by using the better quality chain, applying hedge trimmer spray lube on the bar before putting it away, AND most important, never using the saw with out water flowing through the bar. The bar lasts for two chains and each chain cuts between 40 and 50 feet of 8" thick concrete reinforced rebar.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This bar guide wear easy and creates sharp edges be careful while taking it off. The guide bar grooves wear away so fast the chain slips off to the side of the tip wheel and pinches between the bar and wheel. Don't plan on cutting more than 10 ft before it wears out and don't plan on getting any support from Stihl, they didn't respond to my email for help.
