    Outstanding performance
First few tankfuls of fuel the saw seemed to load up and wanted to die. After about 4-5 tankfuls it has come around and runs much better. Spent nearly eight hours cutting nothing but mesquite of various sizes with no issues and much less fatigue than I would have with my bigger saws. Mesquite is a true test for me as to what a saw can handle, it is brutal on equipment. Keep a sharp chain on this unit and it does the work as designed. I keep this saw in my jeep for clearing trails around ranch ... read more and deer lease, It has proven itself exceptionally versatile for its size.

Love the balance of size weight and power
Love the balance of size weight and power I Chain Saw Carve. I was warned away from the top handle for carving. People said it was to awkward. I love the top handle for carving. It’s great for working in tight corners. I was also surprised at how long I can carve on a single tank of gas & bar oil. I rarely use my rear handle 18” saw anymore. This saw can be a fussy starter when it's warm. 3 to 4 Pulls. Maybe I'm the fussy one. 1 pull would be nice.

    Not a bad saw...considering
I bought this saw a little over a year ago now I purchased this saw when I started climbing the day I bought the saw I could have purchased the 201t but chose not to I figured it would serve my purpose being a newbie just starting out in a tree and I figured if the saw was ripped out of my hand or something bad happened I would only have half the money in the saw 2 for 1 almost.... with that said the carb is adjustable I picked up a steel dogg for an additional $7 and bolted it on well worth the ... read more 2 minutes overall the saw runs great no it’s doesn’t cut like my ms661 no it’s not a 200t but you can cut 10” limbs all day I've ran this saw pretty hard and it has not let me down...let the saw work a little bit it and it will cut through anything you need it to.

Very nice compact saw, easy starting
Was very pleased with this saw. It works really well, just let the saw do the work and it will impress you. Very light weight and very user friendly for control. Used it for limbing, cutting up small trees and topping out trees. I also use it as a training saw. Would not want to use as a primary saw for firewood, but general tree pruning and limb clean up work, saw does great!

    My go to saw
I’ve owned this saw for just over 3 years and it continues to amaze me. I have a couple other saws that are bigger and more powerful but I always find myself going to the Stihl 150. It sits nearly everything and is so light I don’t like using the other saws. Don’t get me wrong, if your out cutting big firewood this is not the saw to use. But if your taking down anything 7” or less I would use this. The overall feel is great and It always starts. Great saw stihl!

    Love it
I have been using this chainsaw for about 4 months and love it. It is the smallest battery operated unit offered, but will easily cut any tree up to about 4". With a sharp blade it cuts as good as a gas operated chainsaw. Battery life is about 30 minutes in continuous use. I still have a gas unit for big stuff, but if I can use the battery unit, I do so. Highly recommend it for small jobs.
