    Beefy tool
This is just a heavy duty hook that's easy to use. It's strong but not too heavy to work with. Great for your weekend warrior or professional tree company.

    A must have tool
I bought a 42 inch cant hook to replace an old wooden handled cant that sent me flying when the wood handle shattered. The Stihl cant is very strong, light weight, easy to maneuver even large logs with it. I add the firewood stand when needed to keep logs off the ground when bucking, as a combo they work great. This is a tool that any wood cutter needs in my opinion.

Essential if you work with fallen trees or large logs.
If you are doing anything related to cutting trees and large logs its pretty much as important as a chain saw. Move/roll/position and even raise above the floor single handed to avoid cutting into the dirt. I even have a version with a 6" extension to raise logs off the ground when working on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt.

    This is a great product
I've been using my new pickaroon for a couple of days and already love this tool. It's great for pulling logs out of a pile or picking up log pieces that fall off the splitter. Also great for picking up small to medium logs without bending over. I wish I had discovered this tool years ago. I have some concerns about the tip and how long it will last but only time will tell.

    Light and strong
It does way more than what I bought it for. Most useful tool I have ever had for clearing my land. Wish I had it when I used to sell firewood. Now i have one on the tractor and one in the truck. What a life (and back) saver. I looked at one for over 3 years before I purchased because I thought it was too expensive. It only took minutes of use to tell that twice the price would be cheap. So sorry I did not get it 30 years ago.

    Well worth the price.
This hookaroon will pay for itself in unused Tylenol for my back. Cut 16 inch heavy ash, picked up even the large pieces with ease. Great tool, great quality, essential in the woods. Should have bought one 20 years ago.

Works well for getting logs off the ground.
I purchased the log stand with a 60" STIHL cant hook and find it to be very useful in raising logs off the ground far enough to keep your chain from hitting the dirt. An added benefit is that the stand is easily removed for using the cant hook alone. Easy to use and very durable.

    a must for cutting firewood
This stand boosts productivity and saves chains when bucking up wood. There's nothing worse than nicking your chain on a rock or dirt and not having a spare when working. This unit will pay for itself even if your a home owner do-it-yourselfer.

    A MUST for all loggers
I have a STIHL Cant hook along with this log stand and what a miracle tool it is! I have used it countless times in the forest and I have lifted some VERY heavy felled trees with it! With the tree lifted, cutting the trunk/branches are a breeze! As I mentioned, this is a MUST own for all loggers and/or farmers that rely on firewood!

Excellent tool and must have for chainsaw owners
this is perfect tool if you need to cut logs on the ground. Excellent quality, material and finish. Just wish to get 60" version - currently own 48" and does the job very well. Do not wait - GET IT - you will not regret. I also got log stand with it to keep the log elevated from the ground - perfect combination. Will recommend to anyone.

    Top quality Peavey
I have the 48" peavey, which I have found to be just the right length for my needs. Short enough to carry conveniently or stash on my tractor or UTV, long enough to provide the leverage needed in most of my situations. These Peaveys are made for Stihl by Logrite. They have perfected the design to come up with a peavey that grabs well and grabs reliably and will stand up to rough use. I'm normally a big fam of wood-handled tools, but I made an exception in this case. I've probably

I Bet You Won't Break This One !
My old Peavey had a wooden handle that was dry rotten. I remember hearing it crackle during it's last few uses. Old or new, would you want to take the chance of one of these snapping off while jacking over a log that weighs multiple-times your own weight? That is a formula for serious injury. This Stihl (steel) 60" Peavey will last a lifetime & still won't break even if you use a "cheater" pipe as an extension! I do recommend the 60" Peavey, although it is available in 42" & 48" models as ... read more well. This tool is invaluable for turning logs to complete limbing, bucking, decking, or dogging them off to wire rope for skidding. They assist in keeping your Chain Bar out of the dirt. If you are cutting logs into firewood lengths, I recommend purchasing the optional Log Stand which bolts on to the head of your Peavey.
