    Good tool!
A dependable small chainsaw without the noise and stench. Well balanced, light enough for one hand stretch work. No cord to pull, easy on elbow and shoulder. It taught me its own trigger dance: You want to speed it up all the way before the cut and keep it fast for all the cuts you have lined up. Not the squeeze-squeeze for every cut. It tends to choke up on fine twiggy stuff wrapping around the sprocket which seriously eats power . Maybe some baffle or cover redesign might help. I love ... read more it. Stealth chainsawing made real!

    Great Chainsaw
Purchased this as I had a couple trees and many large branches to removed from my newly purchased property. I'm not a fan of the smell of gasoline or the idea of breathing the fumes in. The saw it had the power that I needed, no emissions, and is so quiet. The running time is perfect with the Stihl AP-180. Since you're never running the saw continuously, you can get hours wroth of work in. Stick it back on the charger every time you take a break and you're good to go all day. I'm looking ... read more forward to using it for future housework as well as making it a necessary addition to my overlanding toolkit.

    A quiet and powerful saw
We had severe thunderstorms pass through northwest Ohio last night (6/23/13) and I lost the top of my hybrid poplar tree. At 6:00 am on the 24th I was cleaning up the tree damage without waking the neighbors. The MSA 160 C-BQ saw was powerful enough to cut up 5 and 6 inch branches with ease and it was remarkably quiet. In an hour's time the clean-up was done and I was on my way to work at my regular job. What a great little chain saw! Thank you!

    See my review
I am a 64 yr old grandmother who lives on a Colorado ranch. I bought this saw to help with limbing trees and brush as well as various projects around the ranch. I love the light weight and maneuverability as well as the fast and clean cutting. The size and design are excellent for the jobs I have. The battery recharges very quickly. This saw eliminates the pull start, exhaust odors, leaks, weight, and noise of a gas chain saw. The kids call it my "chick-saw".

    Safest Chain Saw Ever
Yes, this chain saw cuts very well, is light and the battery lasts and lasts. But I love the safety feature. When you cut down a tree, you trim off the limbs, but the limbs have many branches that need to be trimmed. So you walk up, over, and between felled limbs and branches, all the time with a live chain saw in your hands, (and hope you don't trip). No more. This chain saw comes alive only when you use it. After each cut, you release the trigger and turn it off. To me, this is a huge, huge ... read more factor. And it will cut through some good sized limbs quite easily. Among my 6 Stihl products I have an MS 250, MS 361, etc. But this little chain saw makes tree work (I have 5 acres, fully wooded) so much easier. You don't have to start and re-start your gas-powered saws...this little booger will instantly come alive and cut.

    Buy this saw!
I wanted something to cut some overgrown weeds and small branches that were too much for an ordinary hedge trimmer. This saw handle that effortlessly. Make no mistake, I felt confident that it has enough torque to handle even bigger jobs such as sawing down tree limbs. I especially love the brake controlf that instantly stops the blade as soon as you let go of the power switch. Of course being a Stihl it is pricey, but well worth the investment.

Use it all the time, as a professional landscaper- I love it
Silent cutting- it makes a contentious branch cut a non issue, the crazy neighbor doesn't freak out, the cops or county officials aren't called in- it makes everything seem small and basic. It is a great chainsaw- no doubt- but the best is working without the smell and noise that attracts biased interference from the public . Buying another soon, have 3 already.

    Good Chain Saw.
First off, It's a really great saw. I use the ap300 battery with it. I've used it on small and big projects. Recently helped build a fence with this saw. Cut 36 6x6 fence post tops and about 30 1x6 boards and it still had 50% charge! No, it's not gonna cut down 3 or 4-foot wide trees all day. Yet it's 'still' a really good saw for trimming and felling anything under 25-30 inches. The only thing that I wish was better is the bar length. 14 inches is the maximum length for Stihl. If it was maybe ... read more say, 18in, then it would be the perfect saw.
