    Another great Stihl product
Great blower for large areas. Should have bought years ago. At first I was intimidated by the back pack style blower, but after fighting my large amount of leaves with my Stihl hand blower (I was younger then), I decided to go with the BR600. The BR600 starts easy, and was surprised by how balanced and lightweight it is. The time spent cleaning my 2 acre property was cut in half. If your thinking of buying a back pack blower, buy a Stihl!

Wish I had purchased this blower years ago!
Excellent performance in the first month since I purchased the blower. Have used 5 or 6 times for clearing 2/3 acre lot of heavy leaves. Immediate startup, amazing power and good ergonomics make the job so much easier and faster than I had with my previous blowers, including backpack models from other brands. The initial set-up, demo, and instructions on my blower that the dealer provided were extremely helpful and exceeded expectations. So much more professional than just picking up a unit in ... read more the box from a big-box home improvement center!

Good Blower, but could use some User Improvements
Good Blower with good power, however it could be much better if Sthil made improvements to make it easier to put on to hold the straps together so they do not slide off your shoulders. I use a Carabiner Clip to hold straps together, once on. Also, once on, and the blower shuts off, you have to remove to start again. Stihl should modify the blower so it can be started while wearing it. Stihl should consider these updates...why have a good blower, when they could have an outstanding blower!

A very versatile blower for the money!!!
In the market for a new backpack blower look no further than the stihl BR 350. This blower has all the power you need plus some. This blower will blow grass clippings, dirt and leaves with no problem. This blower is very versatile and very powerful all in a great priced blower. This blower does not vibrate at all. Its weight is very well balanced and honestly, I forget it is on my back after using it for a while. I got a great deal on this blower at youngs true value for a great deal because I ... read more traded my old (other commercial brand) piece of junk for this bad boy. I would recommend this blower to any home owner or commercial landscaper like my self.

    the little blower that could
We purchased this blower about a year ago to replace a older br 380 we had as a backup. We didn't want such a bulky blower so we opted for this one. We use it for our commercial gardening business. It has been used about 5 days a week since we've owned it and it still hasn't been in the shop once. It still has the original carburetor and spark plug. We had a hard time with the tube mounted throttle since we mostly used hip throttle blowers. It just takes practice. This blower is strong and light ... read more and very fuel efficient.

    This blower does the job.
Bought the BR 350 a year ago. It has plenty of power to do what I need done around my home. It is on the heavy side, but I do not know how one would make it lighter. Too bad the attachment to blow out the gutters on the house will not work with this blower, or any other backpack blower. It seems like the power this unit has would make an ideal gutter cleaner. I am very satisfied with this product.

    excellent for the average home
You can't beat the power of a gas engine! I had a battery blower prior to this and it was just ok. This Stihl 56 is great. Light enough to carry and more power. The very best thing is the eave trough cleaning attachment. In a few minutes I can walk around my home and clear every gutter and downspout without a ladder. Time saving and significantly safer.

    Fantastic machine
Starts easy and runs quiet, very dependable machine. I have 2 home and I have a machine at each home.

I would recommend this blower for the small home owner.
My experience with the BG55 has been great. It always starts; prime once, choke on twice, choke off once and it's running, just half to milk it up to full throttle. However I need a blower with a little more turbulence, acorns and leaves move well but a good twig laughs at it. Overall it's a good machine

    Great experience, great dealer!
If you need a blower with plenty of power and air volume, this is it! Easy to start, very easy to use. This unit has very little vibration, which takes a lot of stress off the back and shoulders and, it is fairly quiet. I borrowed my neighbor's Husqvarna backpack blower to clear my leaves last year. At the time, I thought that was a great unit. Compared to my Stihl, it's just a good blower, not great. Everything about this blower is easy, from the start to the throttle, to the telescoping tube. ... read more I highly recommend it.

Awesome if your on the fence come on over!!!
I am not a pro I am a homeowner with an average size yard which is in the middle of my farm. I have about a 300 foot concrete circle driveway and 1500 sq yards of lawn. Me and the bank own a timber farm. I have many other Stihl products which are all outstanding. I decided to upgrade my big box store blower to a back pack blower because it kept sucking my pants to the air intake when I would use my right hand. It also made more noise than air flow. When I went to the Stihl store my intention was ... read more to buy one of the smaller backpack blowers as they would work for my needs. When I compared the engine size and weight to all the other blowers at the store I decided to spend the extra 200$ and go with this HOSS. I am very glad I did. I only use ethanol free gas and Sthil oil and it only takes one pull to get this beast running and cuts my blower time by at least 50% maybe more. Do I need a 500$ blower nope. I am so glad I have one and if it last like my other Stihl products I don't see me ever buying another blower. It is quiet for a blower, and moves piles of leaves and pine straw with little effort if you want to buy your last blower get one of these!!!

    Best blower in the world!
This blower is the best ive ever had in my career! I don't know why people are giving it negative reviews. It has the same engine as the 600 and I had a 600 for about 6 years and serviced it myself (im also a small engine machanic). It needed very little servicing in its lifespan, and I expect the same to be true for new 700! No valve problems foreseeable. Best power much better then any other backpack blower ive ever owned in every aspect. Love this blower, best investment ive ever made!

    Great product
Have had hand held Stihl blower for years. Works great for 11 months of the year. But in Wisconsin oak leaf season, need something that can push wet, dry, or semi frozen leaves. Used for first time today, this blower pushes leaves! Very satisfied.

This thing will blow you away
The first time I strapped this on my back, I had it pretty loose, and I quickly learned that wasn't a good idea as it almost blew itself off my back. This blower is so quiet and powerful! Im happy my blower can't be heard from a mile away now. Im sure it will last a while beside my array of STIHL products that I use on a daily basis. For a average height, broad shoulder male, it fits well and isn't heavy. The price was hard to swallow but you get what you pay for.

    ab workout
My old old backpack blower kicked out 17 newtons of force. This one kicks out 41 which forces me to use ab muscles to keep it directed. Its only 1 pound heavier than the old one and the build is mostly plastic but solid. I've used it about 25 times now and never takes more than 3 pulls to start. My only issue - the clamp that locks the handle in place fell off. Spent 1/2 hr wandering around the yard looking for it ( bar nut, screw and orange plastic handle thingy) I suppose I should check it ... read more before each use but at this price point, should I need to? Great Blower
Just picked up the BR 430 blower. And I just have two words to describe this blower , ( Totally Awesome). My Yard has several tall trees of different varieties. There's nothing this blower can't blow. Small branches, twigs, acorns, leaves. I didn't realize just how much force this blower had when I first purchased it. I was able to blow all of the leaves , twigs, that were in the front of my yard to the back of the yard an then into the woods. And I have a pretty big yard that's close to 1 acre. ... read more Now I sit at home waiting for more leaves to fall so I can take the blower back out of my garage.

    plenty of power
I purchased this blower for home use. We have many trees on our property. The blower starts easily, runs relatively quietly (although ear plugs helpful) and has plenty of power to move leaves anywhere. Anti-vibration design is also a plus. I received an extended 4 year warranty by purchasing the Stihl 2 cycle oil. The unit appears well built to give many years of use. The only cons I have are that the instructions are weak with regard to blower tube assembly and the shoulder straps tend to slip ... read more off at times as there is no chest strap.

BR 430 Back Pack Blower is amazing
I purchased this BR 430 New about a year ago. I have used it on my large yard and many neighbors yards in my neighborhood. The blower always starts on the first or 2nd pull. The power is way stronger than I could have imagined. I have blown piles of wet leaves off of a one-acre lot with no problem. I have been cutting grass as a side business for many years and have always had a little cheap blower but when it broke I realized it was time to invest in something that I could use to clean up grass ... read more off sidewalks and also be strong enough to get a large number of leaves off a property. This blower is just perfect. I was asked recently to clean up a yard after a storm and this blower hand enough power to remove all the leaves and blow small sticks away as well. A great blower for the price. My only true problem is I am upset with myself that I didn't go buy one of these blowers a couple of years earlier. This blower makes my life so much easier. As far as durability goes I have used this blower every day almost for a year and have had zero problems.
