    My little bad nachine
I’m a 61 yr old woman. I’ve owned the BR600 for almost 2 yrs. One of the best investments ever. It has blown up about 25 yrs of cut up pine straw and has left me with a beautiful lawn. I’ll soon build a cart to carry it, but I’ll never give up this little bad machine. Just perfect for my 2.5 acreas. Easiest machine to maintain and crank. I’m absolutely in love with it.

    Good all around blower
I have only had this blower for 2 months, but I can give you an idea of what to expect. First I would like to talk about power. This machine can blow wet, large piles of leaves with little effort. Second topic is noise. The noise did not seem loud to me, but I do wear ear protection muffs. Third topic is fuel efficiency. It seemed to consume a good amount of fuel but that is normal for a machine in this power category. Overall I am very satisfied.

Grounds keeper review: read this buy this
I use a blower daily at work in a university setting. We use Echo 755's mainly (both top echo models) a good machine no doubt. I use my Br600 at home and side jobs. I wish I could use it at work!! It is lighter, quieter, more fuel efficient, not smokey, waaay more torque/power/pricise throttle response....any ONE of these reasons would be enough to change blowers! This is simply a fantastic machine. I put a hour meter on it to see how long it lasts. No ethanol fuel!

This blower does what I bought it to do.
Not too heavy. One/two pull start; soft pull. Moves alot of leaves at half throttle. Doesn't push you around. Good value.

    It's a stihl
I own a grounds maintenance business. I currently have 5 stihl blowers 2 600's 2 700's and now take possession of the X. I'm not going to speak lies it's a br700 with lighter tube it's not smaller in diameter. It does move more freely swinging tube side to side. Power is same as 700 . It comes with a pipe so you can remove main stock pipe and make a mini air cannon. Would I recommend this over the 700 ? Yeah only because it's a half pound lighter tube. Comfort is king and I do like every ... read more stihl commercial blower mix gas 50:1 them blowers always run

Look out yard, the 800 Magnum is coming!
Time is becoming far less available these days, and maintaining 5 acres every week is becoming more and more demanding. I finally decided to purchase a backpack blower, and heard about the new 800 model (in November). I gave in, and this is one of the best Stihl purchases I have ever made! I had to get rid of at least two acres of leaves (wet and dry) and the Magnum took care of them in a couple hours. During winter, I barely had to shovel, as the Magnum took a hour of work and turned it into 10 ... read more minutes. My only complaint about the Magnum 800 is that the fuel doesn't last for long. I would like to say 45-55 minutes per full tank. I only use the premix fuel, so it is costly to run during leaves season. However, the power this machine produces is worth every cent and saves me the most important thing, time. If you should purchase any Stihl backpack, I say go Magnum 800!

    Great product
Have had hand held Stihl blower for years. Works great for 11 months of the year. But in Wisconsin oak leaf season, need something that can push wet, dry, or semi frozen leaves. Used for first time today, this blower pushes leaves! Very satisfied.

    It's about time!

    Worth the Dollars
As a property manager, I had a smaller homeowner Stihl blower for probably a decade, dependable but lacking in power for wet leaves. Recently I decided to buy the commercial BR 450. It was pricey but I decided to trust the reviews and the Stihl brand. I was not disappointed! Huge piles of wet leaves go flying. A job that took an hour now takes 15 minutes. Wonderful product, well made, easy start. Should have bought it years ago. (Use Stihl oil and always premium gas. best power to weight ratio of any blower with cool features
i have been a stihl fan for years except blowers. i saw this the other day , demoed it and took it home. you hit a home run with this one stihl. its light and powerful. the adjustable nozzle works great for me to adapt to my needs. it can play ball with the two strongest blowers out there.. the echo pb770t and redmax ebz8500.. and is lighter. i own all three blowers mentioned above and use them all but cant keep my br450 off my back. love it stihl. p.s. stihl i also own ( orange and white ;) ... read more ) ms192 ms290 fs100rx fc110 bt45 hl100

    Great blower
Used a smaller hand held unit for 7 years. Finally decided I needed more power an purchased BR450. This unit makes leaf blowing a lot more efficient time wise, wish I purchased this 7 years ago. Only problem is the backpack strap on one side wants to keep slipping off, so bought the chest strap in hope it will eliminate the problem.

    Time saver
This blower has tripled my productivity. After using this blower commercially I am amazed at the amount of time it has saved me. Features I like: Electric start Moveable throttle to your arm length The self contained blower tube is fantastic. Power is very sufficient. Cons: shoulder straps are bad for such a high dollar blower. It seems like they were an after thought. It gets uncomfortable during long periods of usage. The blower is thirsty, has a big tank for fuel but it can go through ... read more it rather quickly.

    Great blower!
I wanted to get a new blower for around the house and decided that I didn’t want another box store unit. I did a ton of research and own stihl weed eaters and chainsaws. Since I have a ton of oaks on my property, I initially went to purchase the BR 600 but after talking with the sales person I decided to give the 450 a shot. It has more than exceeded my expectations. Very very powerful blower and handles the yard debris in minimal time. No more raking the yard for this guy!

To date, their best professional blower
I own a BR 550, BR 600 Magnum, and now the BR 450 C-EF -- without a doubt this is Stihl's best blower to date (Oct 2015). I think the Stihl engineers have underrated the CFM, as I can attest that it is virtually equal to the 600 Magnum (and possibly greater). Also, the way that the air is delivered is better, it seems to have more "punch" when you throttle up (compared to the 600). Electric start is a fantastic feature, even on cold mornings, it fires right up. Also, the larger fuel tank is a ... read more benefit over previous models..

    Great Blower!!
Bought a BG86 from the guys at James River Equipment in Chester. Fueled it up with the Stihl premix - purchased with the blower to extend the warranty. Followed the instructions, a couple of pulls and it started, as per the instructions! Blows really strong and cleaned my yard up in less than half the time it took my old blower! Pretty quiet for a two stroke motor and fuel efficient. You can notice the quality of the build compared to other cheaper blowers. I now look forward to mowing, grass ... read more trimming and cleaning up the mess with my Stihl blower! Happy days! Ps. The guys at James River Equipment are friendly and knowledgeable!

    Awesome Leaf Blower!
I've had a BG86 blower for 2 years now and love it. I've owned the cheap box hardware store blowers in the past and they've all broken too quickly. This STIHL BG86 is really reliable and very easy to start no more than 2 pulls every time! If you have a lot of leaves to deal with then this is THE blower for you. The features are handy including the throttle lock so the throttle trigger doesn't have to be constantly pulled. Do your self a favor and buy one!

    Great handheld unit
I've had the BG86 for about three years now. Its worked great and has never had to go to the shop for repairs. I've used synthetic Ace hardware brand oil in with no issues, sorry Stihl. It takes four or five good pulls to start her, same as when she was new. And she takes a minute or two to warm up before you can get full throttle, but the same can be said about me. So no demerits there. Other than that she works like a champ and has good power. We now live on a bigger property and will be ... read more upgrading to the BR600 backpack blower.
