    Real power from a cordless
I was very skeptical when I bought my first cordless piece of lawn equipment. It was the Stihl cordless chainsaw, and from the first limb I cut I was impressed. This tool is no different. The convenience of no cord, no fuel, no pull start cannot be stressed enough. I still have the gas version of both and use them when I know I will be at it for an extended period of time, but for a quick cleanup or quick trim this Stihl equipment cannot be beat if for no other reason than time saved, but there ... read more is no loss of quality on a job well done.

    Replacing gas equipment with battery
I just replaced my gas backpack blower with a Stihl electric battery operated blower. I had previously replaced my gas string trimmer and hedge trimmer with Stihl electric units. Next to go will be a chain saw for a Stihl battery saw. I have a quick charger and two batteries that I can use to run any of the Stihl battery equipment.

    Nice Blower
I bought in to the Stihl system for the trimmer, but I love the blower as well. It has nice power and is easy to handle. Sometimes I wish there was a slightly smaller nozzle to generate more speed (even at less volume) for some jobs, but it has plenty power for most jobs. The fact that I would like to be able to use it for some places where I would use my compressor tells you that it has a lot of power. Every other cordless blower I ever owned was good for little more than leaves.

I like the second handle to help when blowing leaves down long drive
I really like this blower. It is very easy to start. I like the fact that it is lightweight and doesn't wear me out after a period of time. There is a "second" handle that can to used when you want to focus the blower on a larger pile of leaves

This product is very user friendly
I purchased this blower at Swinehart's in Baldwin Ga. It is powerful and light weight and very handy. I use it in my carport and basement. I find it to be powerful and fun to use I didn't think it would be so efficient in these areas . I also think it will pay for itself by not buying fuel and not having to crank a gas blower every time I go in the basement. Wonderful product very satisfied!

This product is capable and very quiet.
Bought the BGA 56 as a replacement for a disappointing lime green electric blower. I think this new Li-Ion battery Stihl BGA 56 blower is safer, quieter and more rugged. I am very happy so far after 1 month of every other day usage. I live in a heavily wooded area near a river that sometimes overflows its banks. We have a ton of mosquitoes lately and my bug zapper is clogging up almost nightly. I use my blower to clear out all those dead bugs. It does a perfect of it and it only takes a ... read more second. My previous green battery powered blower died after 1 year (battery stopped charging). It was cheap to buy, but I guess I got what paid for. Home depot refused to take give me my money back since it was after 90 days from purchase. My Stihl blower was relatively expensive, but I really get the feeling it is going to last a long time. Plus my new Stihl electric blower has a 2 YEAR warranty and if I have any problem, I can bring it back to the dealer I purchased it from (Buck Brother's, Libertyville, IL) and they will take care of it instead of me having to ship it off to a regional service center and hope I hear back from them.

    Good tool
I am looking forward to using this for a full season, and might update this review. The blower is light weight and has good power. I already had the battery chain saw which I love so I figure I'd continue with Stihl products so I can share batteries and charger. The BGA blower is over priced, and requires the user buy a battery box with power cord that is almost a third of the price of the blower. These are accessories that should come with the blower. The only reason I didn't recommend this ... read more tool is that it isn't worth the total cost.

Best commercial quality emission-free blower available
If emission-free performance is a necessity, the BGA 100 is the best commercial quality blower available. Its performance does not match professional-grade gas powered blowers when blowing heavy, wet leaves, but it is more than adequate clearing paved surfaces of clippings, fertilizer and mulch. The unit is not heavy, but in periods of extended use, expect to switch hands frequently to reduce fatigue. The unit is relatively quiet (my clients have complimented this feature) and is vibration-free. ... read more Although the price of this blower is costly when coupled with the AR 3000 battery back pack, and its power is average at best, I gladly accept these trade-offs for the ability to breathe fresh air as I perform my work.

    Powerful & convenient. Pricey.
This blower is plenty powerful for homeowner needs. The convenience of the battery power system makes it very easy to use. Setup and commence work quickly! ...no cords to manage. I have an extended driveway (300+ feet) that needs grass, tree limbs, and dropped acorns pushed away on a routine basis. The mobility of the battery pack is ideal for this. The cost of the battery, the battery bag and the blower is pricey.
