    Powerful and Easy to Use
I am very happy with my new battery powered BGA 56 blower. It has plenty of power to blow off the decks, side walks and to blow out the garage crud quickly. The battery seems to last longer than I expected, though I haven't run it out yet, so I can only say that it runs at least 15 minutes without running out of power. It is so easy to handle and much lighter weight than I expected. I'm a 65 yr. old women with arthritic hands, back and shoulders and I have no pain when using it. It is also very ... read more clean, no fumes and no gas to buy, mix with oil and fill the tank. I would highly recommend this blower for routine yard maintenance.

Very easy to use and light enough to handle
This battery operated blower makes it so much easier for me to grab and just do little or big jobs for clean up. It's small enough to handle easily and powerful enough to do the types of things that I need to use it for, for example blowing off the patio or blowing the driveway after I mow. I am a not so young woman and this has made it much easier for me to operate.

It’s a residential model for the average home owner! Will do what it’s intended to do..
My purchased focused on the fact I have a battery chainsaw. Uses the same battery plus I bought a extra battery for the chainsaw at the same I purchased saw. So I have lots of batteries to use both and two chargers. The blower clears all my grass clippings after the mower covers driveway and walk ways. I have trees that hang over my decks that are messy!! So this blower beats sweeping as it gets pieces out that has been trapped into the cracks in the deck boards! I use to clean my garage ... read more floor! Better then a broom... so yeah it’s a handy little tool! PS.. I will use to clean the snow off my car in the morning when the time comes!

    BGA Blower
I purchased this to replace my gas powered blower which isn't used much in the winter season and I have the usual problems getting it started for the first time in spring. This time the pull rope broke. Other times it's the hoses or carburetor. My new BGA85 works like a champ. Just pick it up and get to work. I don't use ear plugs but you can if you feel the need. It is as heavy as the gas blower but well balance with the battery installed. Not a problem for me with bad wrists.

    Fully meets all my expectations
Bought it to blow leaves off the roof and clear the gutters. Does all that and more. Even used it this morning to blow the snow off the driveway and Suburban in 10 degree temperature. Using the 160 battery it lasted a full 30 minutes even at that temperature! May have to buy a second 160 battery to increase use life (driveway 150' long) but overall with the sole exception of the high price I love the machine. It is light enough that my wife will use it while she would never use a gas blower of ... read more which I have several.

    Replacing gas equipment with battery
I just replaced my gas backpack blower with a Stihl electric battery operated blower. I had previously replaced my gas string trimmer and hedge trimmer with Stihl electric units. Next to go will be a chain saw for a Stihl battery saw. I have a quick charger and two batteries that I can use to run any of the Stihl battery equipment.

    Works great
We have used this blower for our garages, patio (which is quite large), and drives. Blows rocks, debris, etc and I can do all of them on a single charge. I was tired of the others I had where I needed several batteries to complete the job and they did not have near the blower velocity that this one does. I actually bought it for my wife since she just can't seem to fire up the gas blower :) But, I still seem to be the one that uses it.

Stihl a cut above the rest
The BGA100 has tremendous power for such a lightweight handheld. I look forward to when a leaf falls in my yard so I can get this puppy out and blast it. The battery life is descent with the AP300 and I honestly just enjoy using it. The turbo feature is genius. No gas. No oil. It just works. Well done Stihl.

    Good tool
I am looking forward to using this for a full season, and might update this review. The blower is light weight and has good power. I already had the battery chain saw which I love so I figure I'd continue with Stihl products so I can share batteries and charger. The BGA blower is over priced, and requires the user buy a battery box with power cord that is almost a third of the price of the blower. These are accessories that should come with the blower. The only reason I didn't recommend this ... read more tool is that it isn't worth the total cost.
