It’s a residential model for the average home owner! Will do what it’s intended to do..
My purchased focused on the fact I have a battery chainsaw. Uses the same battery plus I bought a extra battery for the chainsaw at the same I purchased saw. So I have lots of batteries to use both and two chargers. The blower clears all my grass clippings after the mower covers driveway and walk ways. I have trees that hang over my decks that are messy!! So this blower beats sweeping as it gets pieces out that has been trapped into the cracks in the deck boards! I use to clean my garage ... read more floor! Better then a broom... so yeah it’s a handy little tool! PS.. I will use to clean the snow off my car in the morning when the time comes!

    Couldn't be happier!
I purchased a Stihl BGA56 battery powered blower just on the reviews that I read from others that bought this blower, and I'm so glad I did! I was a little leery at first buying a battery charged blower, but it is so quite, I don't need to deal with gas/oil, its light in weight and has all the velocity and blowing force I needed specifically to blow off my driveway, front porch, garage and deck every night. It takes me about 10-15 minutes each night to finish the job and theres still 2-3 green ... read more bars left on the charger battery. This Stihl BGA56 blower ROCKS!!.. literally blows rocks, twigs, leaves and acorns with ease. Love it!

    My new BGA 56
Very nice blower for household yardwork. It's portable, dependable, easy to operate and has the power to blow leaves where you need to. A bit disappointing is the battery run-time. You get 15-20 mins. out of a full battery charge with steady, continuous operation before losing the charge. To achieve a full battery recharge takes 1.5 hrs+. My suggestion is to purchase at least 1 extra battery with this blower.

Blowers that work without the noise
This is how all blowers should operate. No starting cord to wreck your rotator cuff. Quiet enough to use without ear protection. The AP300 battery for my mower, hedge trimmer and now my blower does it all, without mixing gas & oil. The variable power trigger allows full blow and then light thrust to finalize your leaf pile. Great for blowing off sidewalks, steps and even use to dry my car to prevent water spots. My neighbor who runs his gas blower every day tried it and grudgingly admits that it ... read more works pretty well. I hope he sees the benefits of battery equipment soon. Quality design and assembly like all Stihl products.

    Great Product
Bought this tool as an afterthought but couldn't be happier. My Stihl gas chainsaw died and needed replacement, got tired of mixing gas and oil and decided to go battery. But after buying charger and battery for chainsaw decided better off also getting blower (my plug in electric blower had also recently quit) since already had fixed cost in battery and charger. So guess which tool I use every few days? This blower is terrific, certainly quiet compared to electric and gas, and does great job ... read more clearing our long driveway and patio. Couldn't be happier with product. Chainsaw also great but not needed as much.

    Solid with great power
This is a great cordless blower. A battery lasts about 25 minutes going full power. Blows leaves, twigs and crud with ease, like a good gas blower. Tool is very well balanced, so easy to handle when in use. Also nice lighter weight and decent noise level, well below that of a gas blower. I was not wild about the cost, but once I started using the tool the price became much less of an issue given the performance of the blower. It is worth the expense. Plus no more having to deal with gas and oil. ... read more The fast charger works great too. Will be buying more of the tools in the future.

Best commercial quality emission-free blower available
If emission-free performance is a necessity, the BGA 100 is the best commercial quality blower available. Its performance does not match professional-grade gas powered blowers when blowing heavy, wet leaves, but it is more than adequate clearing paved surfaces of clippings, fertilizer and mulch. The unit is not heavy, but in periods of extended use, expect to switch hands frequently to reduce fatigue. The unit is relatively quiet (my clients have complimented this feature) and is vibration-free. ... read more Although the price of this blower is costly when coupled with the AR 3000 battery back pack, and its power is average at best, I gladly accept these trade-offs for the ability to breathe fresh air as I perform my work.

    Cadillac of cordless blowers
I wanted a handheld cordless blower that is quiet, lightweight and powerful enough to handle fall leaf requirements. Even though I am a Stihl aficionado, I gave the popular black and gray blowers sold exclusively at a well-known home improvement store long and serious consideration before I bought this one, mainly because of the expense of this blower and its required battery tethering accessory. I'm a just a blue collar homeowner with a small, heavily treed residential lot, not a pro, but ... read more lately I've become more aware of the noise generated by my gas blower, even though gas blowers abound where I live. I've also owned a BGA 56 for a year and a half. It's my first cordless blower and it has become my most often-used yard implement. Long story short, this is the 56 on steroids. Is it worth it? Very subjective question, but in my opinion, yes. Keep in mind, you're buying a powerful, very quiet, extremely well-constructed blower made unusually light-weight because of its unique tethering arrangement, not just a standard "PRC-made" cordless blower. Also, if you intend to buy more tools within the AP system, the initial accessory purchases become easier to stomach. I'm happy with this purchase.

    Works great
We have used this blower for our garages, patio (which is quite large), and drives. Blows rocks, debris, etc and I can do all of them on a single charge. I was tired of the others I had where I needed several batteries to complete the job and they did not have near the blower velocity that this one does. I actually bought it for my wife since she just can't seem to fire up the gas blower :) But, I still seem to be the one that uses it.
