    Great Blower
The blower starts easy and is very easy to use. Power is good (could be a touch better) and handles most tasks with ease. I have yet to use on large areas of wet leaves (November is not far away). Only down side is no ability to lock the throttle on full power, you must keep your finger on the trigger.

    Excellent product
I love his blower. Had a 86C, after many years of daily use it bit the dust. The 56 is much lighter in weight and suits a middle age female perfectly. My shoulders and arms do not get as fatigued. Has plenty of power for blowing leaves. Have not used on snow yet, but am looking forward to it. Would totally recommend to anyone.

    Love it
I was concerned that I was underbuying. You know us guys. Bigger is better in equipment. But I went middle of the road and was "blown away" with how well it performed. I had some year old piled up leaves on the side of a building. Rained on, walked on. Packed. This baby got under it and flipped up sheets of the stuff. It took no time at all to clean it up and blow it all into the woods. I kept going and did the whole yard and more. Fun stuff. I recommend this to any homeowner. It's also pretty ... read more light. You don't need a strap at all. The air forces it up a bit. Kind of floats.

    Extremely Powerful and Lighweight!!
This blower is practically weightless compared to all other handhelds (due to separate required battery adapter pack). The power this thing has is unreal. Battery life isn't great with standard small batteries, but sufficient for small jobs. Great blower!

    Good tool
I am looking forward to using this for a full season, and might update this review. The blower is light weight and has good power. I already had the battery chain saw which I love so I figure I'd continue with Stihl products so I can share batteries and charger. The BGA blower is over priced, and requires the user buy a battery box with power cord that is almost a third of the price of the blower. These are accessories that should come with the blower. The only reason I didn't recommend this ... read more tool is that it isn't worth the total cost.

Replacing my gas blowers and plug in electric
These are great for our maintenance crews that work small to medium properties. Our clients really appreciate the low noise and no exhaust. I feel the fuel and repair savings will pay for the units in under two years. I am switching to as many products in the line as possible. Initial cost of batteries and charger are distributed over each additional tool, the more the merrier.

I would recommend this blower for the small home owner.
My experience with the BG55 has been great. It always starts; prime once, choke on twice, choke off once and it's running, just half to milk it up to full throttle. However I need a blower with a little more turbulence, acorns and leaves move well but a good twig laughs at it. Overall it's a good machine

    The product is reliable.
The product should have the auto run feature so the throttle tab does not need to be held down all of the time.

    excellent for the average home
You can't beat the power of a gas engine! I had a battery blower prior to this and it was just ok. This Stihl 56 is great. Light enough to carry and more power. The very best thing is the eave trough cleaning attachment. In a few minutes I can walk around my home and clear every gutter and downspout without a ladder. Time saving and significantly safer.

good blower, but uses a lot of gas.
I bought this blower from a local stihl dealer. It has a lot of power and blows leaves really good. but i only use it about once or twice a week and i've probably used about 2 gallons of gas in less than a month. its good but its just a gas hog. Soon i'll probably buy a br 600 for home and just use my 430 at work.

High powered machine built for work
This blower is a true power house that will make short work of yard work. I appreciate the ability to save hours on jobs that used to take a lot of time and effort. The large fuel tank is definitely a plus in eliminating the need to stop in the middle of a project. When a person gets serious about their work and is tired of using the cheaper blowers, this is the one that will definitely provide a big step up.

    Mr jarlo
Was wondering would I buy a blower/vav or a good blower on it's own, searched the internet for reviews big-time, I scarify my lawn every year so I started thinking that a good blower can blow the moss and thatch in a heap to take away, very little raking if none at all, hired out both type of machines and decided to buy the 430 blower , suits my needs perfect, good luck with your choice

    Excelent for General public
Although electric seems new for STIHL I took a chance at the best brand name. So far it has been great through the fall season. I would have liked the two speed offered with the BGE71 but did not want/need the bagger nor additional expense.

    Solid performer
I like the idea that you sell through small business owners who provide great service and provide support at purchase as wellas after the sale. Quality, performance are a key factor to my purchase ex performance beside being made in USA.

    I LOVE THIS THING....
I have gone through so many gas blowers...I hate gas now. I am switching all of my tools to electric. This Stihl Blower is amazing. Light and super powerful. And no more messing with gas. Words can not say enough for this tool. I have the Stihl Trimmer (Electric) now.....I am done with gas. You will be very happy with this unit.

    Met all expectations
The vacuum kit for my BG 56 C-E worked exactly as advertised. It was easy to understand, assembly, and use. I got initial help from the dealer to ensure that I knew how to attach and remove the vacuum kit on the blow power head. It was easy to develop a technique for vacuuming the leaves and pine needles but leave behind the mulch. This is a great tool to finish of the Fall leave collection business.

    Great productworks as advertised
The vacuum tube works great! You must go slow with wet leaves or small twigs. I pick up 10 to 12 vacuum bags ever other day in high winds. No instructions, but look at the instructions you got with your blower it explains how it works. GO SLOW WITH WET LEAVES GRASSHOPPER. Do not exceed the vacuum capacity of the blower and you will have no problems.

    Very helpful
i saw this kit before and kinda wanted it so i bought. it toke a little time for convert it over to my blower but it was not bad after all. i just used it today and it just rained last night and this tool was handling the wet leaves like they were dry was very happy it nice for spouts were a rake cant get to and really works the best if the leaves are loose and one pavement.
