    what a great product!
I have had this blower for a year now. I'm completely sold. I had a hard time turning loose of the money when I first bought it. I had a handheld blower for years, and when the leaves got so high I had to get out the rake to finish. Now you just go and blow.. It also starts so easy. I pull it once, it starts, that it. Wish I had bought this 10 years ago! You won't be sorry!

Grounds keeper review: read this buy this
I use a blower daily at work in a university setting. We use Echo 755's mainly (both top echo models) a good machine no doubt. I use my Br600 at home and side jobs. I wish I could use it at work!! It is lighter, quieter, more fuel efficient, not smokey, waaay more torque/power/pricise throttle response....any ONE of these reasons would be enough to change blowers! This is simply a fantastic machine. I put a hour meter on it to see how long it lasts. No ethanol fuel!

    Game changer
With a very large property populated by innumerable oak trees, for years I struggled in the fall removing leaves. Finally I upgraded to the Stihl 600 BR. The difference was not only great, it was exponential! I was immediately able to move large piles without difficulty (both wet and dry) and get leaves out from previously awkward areas between shrubs and in densely ground-covered areas. Plus, the ergonomics and relative comfort of the machine made this all enjoyable! This is undoubtedly one of ... read more the finest tools I have ever owned and my only regret is not having punched a Stihl years ago!

    Great Product
Bought this tool as an afterthought but couldn't be happier. My Stihl gas chainsaw died and needed replacement, got tired of mixing gas and oil and decided to go battery. But after buying charger and battery for chainsaw decided better off also getting blower (my plug in electric blower had also recently quit) since already had fixed cost in battery and charger. So guess which tool I use every few days? This blower is terrific, certainly quiet compared to electric and gas, and does great job ... read more clearing our long driveway and patio. Couldn't be happier with product. Chainsaw also great but not needed as much.

    Solid with great power
This is a great cordless blower. A battery lasts about 25 minutes going full power. Blows leaves, twigs and crud with ease, like a good gas blower. Tool is very well balanced, so easy to handle when in use. Also nice lighter weight and decent noise level, well below that of a gas blower. I was not wild about the cost, but once I started using the tool the price became much less of an issue given the performance of the blower. It is worth the expense. Plus no more having to deal with gas and oil. ... read more The fast charger works great too. Will be buying more of the tools in the future.

    Fully meets all my expectations
Bought it to blow leaves off the roof and clear the gutters. Does all that and more. Even used it this morning to blow the snow off the driveway and Suburban in 10 degree temperature. Using the 160 battery it lasted a full 30 minutes even at that temperature! May have to buy a second 160 battery to increase use life (driveway 150' long) but overall with the sole exception of the high price I love the machine. It is light enough that my wife will use it while she would never use a gas blower of ... read more which I have several.

Great design for the urban leaf blower.
Excactly what was needed in a noise conscience environment. Stihl enough power to lift wet leaves of the sidewalks. If I was to use it everyday I would probably go for the BR600 but since it is only used sparingly this does the job I bought it for.

This product blows stronger than any other brand.
Had a choice between this BR 600 model, or the newer released model. I am totally satisfied with the operation and strength of this BR 600 model, the ease and weight, and the efficiency of air flow. The newer high end blower utilizes the CFMs better, I understand, but can't imagine an improvement over the BR 600!

Very Quite and Does the Job
I Maintain Grounds equipment on a university campus and we recently purchased three BR 500 Blowers for our department. All three are working great and it is much nicer around campus with the reduced noise levels from these blowers. We have many trees and at any one time are running 7 to 8 leaf blowers during the Fall to keep up. The BR 500 Blowers move less air than other blowers that are available but they provide enough air to do the job and as stated above produce noticeably less noise.

    Powerful and Light.
I bought this for my mother who wanted something to blow out her garden. I bought this model solely because of its weight. I was surprised at how powerful it was for such a small/light machine. She couldn't be happier.

    EXCELLENT
I had a craftsman leaf blower.. just threw it in the trash... was goin to take it to my cabin, but after using the stihl 61, I'm just going to go buy another one for up north. Well worth the money!

    Built to last
I purchased the BGE 61 in the month of January and I have not had a chance to use it for it's intended purpose as of yet because any stray leaves that may exist on my property are buried under a foot or so of snow. I have, however, used it for MY intended purpose, to dry my car after washing without creating any swirl marks on my vehicle. It performed quietly and efficiently to my complete satisfaction. I do tend to wash my cars very early on weekend mornings, so the BGE 61's lower volume should ... read more be appreciated when spring finally comes if my neighbor's windows are open for fresh air. I certainly look forward to incorporating the BGE 61 for its primary use where, I'm sure, it will perform over and above my expectations in comparison to anything I've used to blow leaves during my Fall and Spring cleanups in the past. I always believed; Buy less but buy good. Stihl, thank you for not skimping or cutting corners and doing what it takes to build a superior product.

    Great two in one product
Both blower side and vac side work great. Bag could be bigger, maybe a backpack style bag with a larger capacity. I have a large mature oak trees and works great in and around the flower beds. However, it does not like the acorns. I have a lot of Sthil products, two chain saws, a weed trimmer, and now the blower vac. Great long lasting products.one of my chain saws is 42 years old and still works great. I'd like to see Sthil make a good snow blower . I highly recommend this product.

just what i thought it would do!!!
if you have a lot of trees around your property and no good place to put the leaves you need one of these beasts. we have places in behind sheds and around other building that leaves collect like crazy and theres no good place to blow them away. the shredder part is were i love it the most; that metal blade grinds leaves up to powder and will even crunch up twigs up to about the size of your pinky finger. the blower part has good performance also. the only thing i wish for me at least is a ... read more bigger collection bag. when you got a big pile of leaves it fills up pretty quick.

    Very happy with this purchase!
I went from an old electric blower/vac combo that has worked well for a number of years. We recently added an outdoor living space and it simply became a pain in the kiester to drag out the amount of extension cord that I needed to blow leaves. The Stihl obviously eliminates that problem. I debated a backpack model versus this one, but decided that I wanted the vac option as well. It seems to work better than my old one in this manner, though it does produce an incredible amount of dust--I ... read more won't vac any longer without using a filter mask. Extremely Powerful and Lighweight!!
This blower is practically weightless compared to all other handhelds (due to separate required battery adapter pack). The power this thing has is unreal. Battery life isn't great with standard small batteries, but sufficient for small jobs. Great blower!

Stihl a cut above the rest
The BGA100 has tremendous power for such a lightweight handheld. I look forward to when a leaf falls in my yard so I can get this puppy out and blast it. The battery life is descent with the AP300 and I honestly just enjoy using it. The turbo feature is genius. No gas. No oil. It just works. Well done Stihl.

    Powerful & convenient. Pricey.
This blower is plenty powerful for homeowner needs. The convenience of the battery power system makes it very easy to use. Setup and commence work quickly! ...no cords to manage. I have an extended driveway (300+ feet) that needs grass, tree limbs, and dropped acorns pushed away on a routine basis. The mobility of the battery pack is ideal for this. The cost of the battery, the battery bag and the blower is pricey.
