    Great pole saw!
This saw is heavier than I expected but it is balanced and the weight helps cut through limbs 4 or 5 inches thick like butter. The carrying strap doesn’t fit well but it’s not always needed. It starts on 1 or 2 pulls and idles as long as you want. I now have a Stihl pole saw, chainsaw, weed eater, and tiller and I’m happy with all of them.

    GREAT & affordable
I bought an ECHO the day before I bought this one and there is NO COMPARISON of the two. The ECHO was 7' and a FIXED length, which was a transporting problem in my small car. The Stihl is 9' long and the shaft separates into 2 pieces. The ECHO was UNDERPOWERED and not as balanced. Starts very easy and can really cut. I am looking for more limbs to trim at my house and even the neighbors. So glad I bought THIS ONE!!!!!

    This product is the best
I am 60 years old, obese, and have a lot of large mature trees. I bought this pruner 4 years ago, works great, branches cut like butter. I also purchased a third pole to reach even higher branches. The saw blade has yet to go bad after many many hundreds of branches cut, some 5" thick. The pruner cuts 1" thick branches easily. Easy to handle, light weight, cuts fast, and still works like new after many years. You will not be disappointed purchasing this.

Very well made, high quality pole pruner
I bought the PP 900 a few years back and use it quite regularly on my tree covered lot. It has a very good blade on it for effortless cutting of limbs. I also like the fact that you can get replacement parts if you need them. The unit is expensive, but you get what you pay for! STIHL has done their research on this tool! I HIGHLY recommend the PP 900.

    ULTIMATE saw for pruning limbs.
I purchased the PS 80 Arboriculture saw with the PP800 extending pole several years ago to do high trimming in my wooded lot. I have found it to be easy to use, well balanced and light. Even fully extended, this saw performed well. GREAT VALUE for the price.

    Perfect
This 16" hardened steel saw is an incredible value. I own an HT131 but prefer this PS80 with PP180 telescoping pole for most of my pruning. It powers through thick hardwood limbs with astounding speed and keeps on going for longer than any other saw I have owned! Blades cannot be sharpened but the longevity of this saw makes its price a bargain.

    Minor issue. Still love it!
Bought the 103 at 9 o’clock this morning, the dealer started it and made it work ready before I went out the door. After the 3 rd cut at full extension, the chain stopped spinning and wasn’t bound up. I retracted it all the way and it worked again. After a few more tries at full extension, I called the dealer and he had me bring it back to check it. Turns out, the motor was not fully seated into the shaft. 10 minutes later, out the door and back to cutting! Dealer said it’s a semi-common issue.

Easyer than climbing the tree with a with an 023c
I have owned this polesaw for about half a year and it stihl works great. This pole saw has held is edge one several hundred cut on several tree types spruce , ash and from branch sizes from up to about 9 inches down to branches around 1/8 inch. The 1/4 chain has worked great for this pole saw , shaping the chain with an Oregon chain grinder will be my next step. I have used this saw to drop about a dozen small dead oak an ash trees and it keeps on going. After working and fixing stihl ... read more machines just under 2 decades has helped out a lot.

    Excellent Product
I bought the HT 103 to cut branches on 15 acre farm which has many low hanging limbs on the field edges that hit you in the face while running a bush-hog with the tractor. I'm very experienced with chainsaws and cut professionally for a period of time. This is my first season with the saw and thus far I am ecstatic with the performance. Being able to extend the reach and function has been superb.

Great for reaching branches in high places.
I purchased the PP100 several years ago to prune branches on my property. It has proven to be an excellent hand tool for trimming and for reaching those hard to get branches. I would recommend the PP100 for those that demand HIGH QUALITY tools in their arsenal! You will be amazed at the size branches this tool will handle. Very useful tool!

    My go-to tool for trees
Love, Love, Love this pruner! A must-have for tree trimming. I have run over them with my truck & still works like a charm. The tool that comes up missing because everyone else wants to use it.

    Typical Stihl Quality
Bought this to trim some branches that I had to keep moving out of my way when mowing my lawn. Sliced through Red Oak limbs like they were nothing. Very sharp, great quality. A little pricey, but a lifetime warranty goes a long way to offset the price.

    Great Product But......
Bought this Lopper Attachment for my PP800 Telescoping pole. The product is top of the line and definitely makes life easier and keeps me from having to climb trees to prune. However, there are a couple of issues that I had with my purchase. First of all, the unit shows an eyebolt to attach the rope too - had to purchase this myself which is ridiculous. I also did not like the quality of the rope supplied with the unit and so I went to Lowes and bought a 25ft section of 3/8" Twisted Poly Rope ... read more with a 3/8" Rope Clamp and Thimble Set. Once I attached the eyebolt, rope and clamp and thimble, I am very pleased with the Lopper Attachment. When you buy a Stihl product, you don't expect to have to buy other items in order to use the product. I believe that this needs to be looked into by quality control.

    the best there is
Sold my off brand lopper and just bought this high quality lopper attachment....bought the pp800 pole I believe and at 18 feet high cutting the branches is so easy I don't even have to use the 8ft step ladder anymore...the easy pull of the rope and instant cut is just so easy and its so heavy duty and yet lightweight....another too notch quality product from STIHL....! I always clean it with Stihl penetrating oil and the razor sharp cutter stays clean as new and the tree sap won't corrode or ... read more rust the lopper either...you won't believe how it is so easy to use and precise point of cut on the branch . Thanks STIHL!
