    Awesome Attachment
This attachment works great with my KM130R power head. It slices right through any branch I put it to. Not only does it work great at pruning limbs, big or small, it also works well when they are on the ground. That way you don't need to bend over to cut them up into smaller pieces! I noticed that it leaked B&C oil. Not sure If it was the cap, from being in the hot garage attic, or both. Either way, if you empty the oil reservoir the problem goes away. Other than that, this is yet another great ... read more tool that makes my Kombimotor all the more versatile! P.S. The only thing that would make this tool better is if you could adjust the angle of the cutter head. This would make pruning even easier and probably safer as well.

Perfect for those branchs a bit to far away
We purchased a piece of property which has hundreds of trees ranging from invasive Buckthorn to 10 ' around hardwoods. This head is awesome for getting to the higher branches which is much harder with a ladder and chainsaw. even works good cutting up branches on the ground. It is also easy enough to get on a 10 ' ladder and reach even higher. I have cut 12" branches with no issue. I also purchased the Carbon fiber Shaft extension to give me that extra 3 foot reach which works wonders. I have a ... read more KM130 and feel that the smaller motor may struggle on the thicker branches. Keep the blade sharp and cut some wood.

If you're thinking of purchasing this pruner, go and sell your 16" or smaller chainsaw. You no longer need it.
I bought this attachment a couple of months ago to clean up some ice storm damaged limbs, and as of now It is my second most used attachment on the heels of the line trimmer. It's a little heavier than a standard chainsaw, but so much more useful. Be careful not to get the bar in a bind with a larger power head as you can smoke the clutch.

    Great time saver
Rairly do you find a product that lives up to its great reviews from the first minute. Usually there is a technique to learn and lots of hours of experience. We just purchased a house with over 25 landscaped beds and trees. I am a new user to this level of equipment and needed to find something that could give us back hours of our life. This Bed Refiner is it. It easily converted 20-30 hours of hard work to less than 2 right away. I will never again think of picking up a shovel to clean up ... read more beds. Thanks Stihl, it almost seems like an incredible waste because it works so well. In literally no time you are done and wondering what else you should do to keep using such a great tool.

    Great Time Saver!!!!
This is a great tool to have instead of using a spade! It cuts and nice clean edge with little to no touch-up areas. DO NOT use in wet conditions. If your soil is moist, this bad boy will clog up and you will be picking mud out of the shield. DO use when soil is bone dry and always wear eye protection when using any STIHL power equipment.

    Impressive!
After attempting - and failing - to use my edger to tame back the St Augustine grass along my beds in the sandy Florida soil, I purchased this bed tool. Wow was my first impression at the heft in the unit. Remarkably, it's a joy to use. Pulling it backwards made light work of the bedding edging process. The line was perfect on the first attempt. I highly recommend this tool if you have a grass to soil border on your beds.

    Works great!
This is especially good for working up areas that require reseeding.

    Mostly good
I used on about 1000 sq ft of lawn. My lawn is 30 years old and the soil is dobe clay. None of the original compost remains in the soil It took me about 3 hours. I am 74 but in pretty good shape. It slots are about 1 1/2 inches deep which I think is about right. It cuts the slots fairly close together so I had to be careful and not be over the same area twice or it striped out the turf. Had to work it back and forth a little to get the depth I needed. It ripped out a lot of the old dry grass and ... read more did a reasonable amount of thatching too. I had some weeds hidden under the grass and those were exposed and easy to remove. I expect it will take 4 to 6 weeks for the turf to recover but It really needed it. I have one area where I reseeded within two months. I had to be really careful on that area. I did the job for less than it would have been to rent a plug type and the tool still is like new. very tough and easy to install. Don't do it if you are having a lawn party soon. wait until after. I think it would have been better to do it early spring then follow with heavy fert.

    Fishing Bait Finder
Use it with the wheels and adjust the wheels to one of many settings to allow the blades to work for you--use it as a thatcher too. Self cleaning blades with neutral throttle and a slight roll backwards will roll out all the contents wound up around the shaft. Will run without a cotter pin and didn't even know it until 15 minutes into the job and the blades had a side ways motion while turning a corner--the blade fell off gently without damage. Enjoy the throttle for light to heavy work and ... read more little white finger after two hours of steady work. Fun and addicting to use so much you will be draining tanks of gas out of the box. Pulls up top layer vines like chick weed and chews it up with s simple backwards and forwards motion that won't hurt the grass. Never knew Zoysia grass had so much thatch and worms hiding deep inside. These blades popped up all the worms along with the thatch. Grab them fast for fishing before they quickly dive back into the grass.

    Works As Advertised
Once you've attached this to your Kombi power head, and adjusted it to suspend from the Stihl Double shoulder harness, you have a fast and accurate edging system. I edged approximately 400 feet of walk, curb and drive. With a moderate amount of overgrowth, I welcomed the KM 130R 's power and made a first pass in 15 minutes. A second pass to better separate the overgrowth from the curbs and walks, and it was clean-up time. In all, this tool works as advertised. I appreciate the dual wheel design ... read more allowing accurate placement and support. It appears that several 0.125" blades will be required for a season as the first blade shows about 3/4" wear to its length. I've purchased the 0.250" replacement blade to gage it's worth. Any of the KM power heads should be adequate to power this tool, giving the 90 and 110 a little more time to work.

    Super Durable and Great Price
Got this attachment plus the trimmer head when I purchased the Kombi System. I was used to using an Echo edger with a curved shaft. After my Echo gave me a lot of trouble and eventually died, I purchased this system. I can interchangeably pop one tool on and then the other on. This tool is sturdy and never bogs down. I would HIGHLY recommend it to others!!

    I love my manicured edges!
I have the previous generation FCS-KM with the white deflector and I use it with a KM130. I have no complaints. The edger easily cuts through and makes a beautiful crisp edge. If its way overgrown like my neighbor, it'll take a while to cut through. I previously owned a Ryobi and then Craftsman kombi system, and there is no comparison to the made in USA Stihl quality. I'm sold on it.

    Great for light snow removal
I just purchased this a few days ago and have used it twice. It was easy to spin the gearbox 180 degrees and attach the sweeper. If you want an additional guard that spans the entire width of the sweeper, it is an option. The first time I used it was on chunks of solid snow I had scraped off the driveway. It pushed it easily. This morning we had about 4" of new light snow. This was a little much to remove. There was plenty of power, but once you went about 4',the build up started to come back ... read more over the blades and you needed another pass to clear the surface.

We love this attachment. It works terrific getting rock off smooth surface or grass. It's a back saver. It's a work horse.

    great machine for many projects
Plowing snow all winter here in north central Wisconsin leaves gravel stones and small piles of gravel on my lawn . My long driveway is gravel covered so every spring its a chore cleaning the gravel off the lawn . The powersweep attachment works perfect , It rolls the gravel off the lawn with out any damage to the short grass . Just the time it saves and the ease of effort has made it a great asset for this purpose.

    Awesome tool!
I'm a homeowner and part time landscaper and I wish I would have bought this Kombi sooner. It's absolutely awesome. I've got the weed eater, pole prunner, edger, hedge trimmer and brush trimmer attachments. I've used them all and love them all. This motor and the attachments save so much space in my small shed and I can keep them locked up in my truck when going from job to job. I've only used Stihl Motomix or Trufuel and I've never had any problems starting it. Worth paying the extra money for ... read more the fuel. Don't hesitate to buy this Kombi, you'll be happy you did. My only regret is not buying it sooner!

    Mixed review
I have 2 of the km 110nmulti tools. I use them a lot for my business but I would recommend only buying one of these for commercial companies. The mid tier weed eater does 90% of the jobs we do and these big multi tools are not as comfortable and they are not as durable. If you don't make sure the head is snug into the base it will run and damage your head

    No throttle lock
We use the kombi system for edger, hedge trimmer, and pole saw on our lawncare. The new 111 do not have a throttle lock which is a major issue. When using the hedge trimmer on long hedges that are at eye level. You can no longer lock the throttle and place powerhead on shoulder and use 2 hands on d-ring.
