    Great Product
I love using the Kombi. I only have the string trimmer portion currently and will be adding a few more pieces over the next year. I have used it 5-6 times so far, it starts reliably, runs smooth and has great power. I haven't had to use full throttle at all. I use it along a 350 foot fence on both sides and the rest of my property, about 1/3 acre and has reduced my trimming time in half. I checked other makers and to get the same power required a 50% price increase. I anticipate this engine will ... read more provide all the power I need.

One power head with tremendous versatility
Purchased this unit a year ago to trim a rather tall and long cedar hedgerow. Since that time I have added the string trimmer and the pole pruner. Recently used the pole pruner to remove the same hedgerow and it performed flawlessly. This tool has far exceeded all expectations I had prior to purchase and will continue to add attachments to increase it's usefulness.

Great residential multi-tasking tool with a strong motor.
Worth every penny, well worth every dollar. Strong motor with more power than any other residential product on the market. A great investment, purchased the head and trimmer first and the curved edger second. Invest in the quick change trimmer head over the standard. The curved edger has plenty of power and it easy to use. Use premium non-ethenal gas and Stihl 2 cycle oil and your motor will run great. Change the air and fuel filter yearly too. The power and dependability of Stihl makes their ... read more products worth every penny, well dollar. GS in Germantown, TN.

    Excellent Tool
I waited a long time to get a power trimmer. I've done it all from using manual trimmers to standing in the bucket on my tractor loader with a chain saw, so when I was ready, I researched them all. I expected to purchase a full length professional grade pole saw, but then the Kombi unit caugt my attention mainly because it is easy to break it down into a short length to fit in my UTV or ATV which works excellent. I was very surprised to discover that this tool is really powerful and cuts fast. ... read more It is among the best tools I've purchased. I've since added many more Kombi attachements and so far I like them all.

    Excellent, versatile
I've owned one of these saw attachments for 4 years. I have used for all the tasks covered by the other reviewers before me, and found this to be a very dependable, very versatile addition to my assortment. I have used it to fell trees up to about 6" in diameter when I am too lazy to get the big saw out. Keep the chain sharp and you will be happy you have one of these!

If you're thinking of purchasing this pruner, go and sell your 16" or smaller chainsaw. You no longer need it.
I bought this attachment a couple of months ago to clean up some ice storm damaged limbs, and as of now It is my second most used attachment on the heels of the line trimmer. It's a little heavier than a standard chainsaw, but so much more useful. Be careful not to get the bar in a bind with a larger power head as you can smoke the clutch.

    Incredible Powerful Product
10 Stars out of a possible 5! Recently purchased my first Stihl Product, the Komi KM 131R. First Job, clear out dead vegetation and reeds. Tried the weed eater, line was gone in the first pass. Attached the FS-KM Brushcutter, incredible power, literally destroyed everything in its path! This tool was so powerful it startled me, and I've been performing yard maintenance for 35 years, at times professionally. I can't give this tool a high enough recommendation. I had burned through other ... read more name brand tools prior to this, all failed. Stihl is now my forever go-to tool.

    Great Power and Versatility
My first Kombi head was Homeowner KM56R that I bought over 20 years ago with trimmer attachment. I've added other attachments but with the straight stick edger, I had to use finesse to keep rpms up. I recently purchased the KM 131 R (same Stihl professional) It runs the edger effortlessly and now I can add any attachments that need more power. I still use the KM 56 for string trimming. Good fresh ethonol free fuel or Motomix will assure trouble free service for years just like all my Stihl saws ... read more and other products.

They should have called it the Omni
This powerful, easy starting tool is amazing. It will take just about any tool you want to put on it. I settled on it because it is the most powerful tool in the industry and because of Stihl's reputation. It also will accept my cheapo tools with no problem and I will replace them as they wear out rather than all at once at this time. This is a really great power head and I saw a video where a guy tried competing brands, and Stihl attachments all on this power head. You cannot beat that. It is ... read more as good as when tractors all started going to Universal hydraulic fittings. Just a great tool that should have been called the Omni.

    Did the job as expected
Bought the rubber paddles to remove acorns and hickory nuts from the lawn. Took a little time to get the hang of it but in two minutes I was gettin' er done. The wheel kit is a necessity I'd say. Worked best with the wheels on their lowest setting.

    great machine for many projects
Plowing snow all winter here in north central Wisconsin leaves gravel stones and small piles of gravel on my lawn . My long driveway is gravel covered so every spring its a chore cleaning the gravel off the lawn . The powersweep attachment works perfect , It rolls the gravel off the lawn with out any damage to the short grass . Just the time it saves and the ease of effort has made it a great asset for this purpose.

Bought for snow cleanup in Canada
Bought this unit for clearing snow on my driveway and sidewalks. I chose to go with this over a snow blower. I wanted something gentle on my nice exposed concrete. This unit works well on fresh snow. One pass on light snow fall and a few passes on a 4" inches or more. Finished look is nice when completed. I also used it this spring to clear the stones in front of my driveway. Works really good for that.

    Lightweight power
Im a professional trail builder, so when I choose a power tool I'm looking for the optimal balance of power and weight. Often walking miles through dense brush and steep terrain, I can't afford to lug around extra weight. I have cleared miles of 1-2" autumn olive, brush, branches, vines, and understory growth with the adjustable hedge trimmer, an absolute beast. This unit checks all the boxes. Reliable, powerful, lightweight 2 cycle power. The extensive positive reviews sealed the deal for me. ... read more Use an ethanol free pre-mix fuel and it will start easy for life.

    Get this one
I originally bought a KM-111R. Used it for about 10 minutes and brought it back. WAY to heavy for general trimming work, very awkward to trim grass with and did not like the 4 cycle engine. You can't hold the thing at a nice constant speed by feathering the throttle while trimming like a 2 stroke. Had the dealer order me a KM-94R and I'll never look back. Does a great job, plenty of power and lightweight. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time with the others, get the KM-94R. You won't regret it!

    Best Kombi I've Owned
The KM 94 R is by far the best Kombi I've owned. This is my third one I purchased and compared to the other two it is by far the best. There is always enough power for any of the 6 attachments I have. It is very fuel efficient and easy to start. I like its light weight, especially when using the chainsaw attachment. The Stihl Kombi is a little more expensive than other brands, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for and is certainly true in this case.

    This is a great tool
I have most of the tools to fit the KombiSystem and by far this on is the most rewarding. The job it does is hard to believe and with ease. I should have bought this sooner but thought it was expensive for an edger. I'm hear to tell, you won't be disappointed. I would recommend it to everyone.

Edger works well for prepping beds for mulching
The redefiner works great for prepping existing landscape beds for mulching. I have found that holding the kombi at a 15-20 angle towards the inside of the planting bed makes a wider edge which makes for easier mulch installation. The redefiner is NOT for making new beds, wrong tool for that. The redefiner is made for re-edging existing beds. Walking backwards to run the edger does take a little time to get used to, but overall easy to learn.

    Time saver
Works well as long as the soil is neither wet or too dry. When damp, the tool clogs and has to have the soil removed from the housing every six inches or so. If the soil has a lot of clay and is very dry the blade fails to cut to the full depth. If soil conditions are just right it works great and beats using a shovel as I have done in the past.
