    BR 600 is Awesome
Even though the price of this blower may initially scare the average consumer away, this is an awesome unit. I've owned this unit now for over a year and when I use it weekly, my neighbors all stand there watching in awe. It simply blows like crazy and makes moving leaves, grass clippings, bark, dirt and debris an easy job in very little time. I've even used it to move light snow in the winter. It simply will remove spots from a leopard! Great unit and I certainly would buy again...

    Big blower with big performance
We are in mid-Michigan, fourteen acres, with six acres of yard, with a mix of hardwoods and pines. The Stihl B600, used in combination with a diesel power mower with bagger, has made yard cleanup efficient and possible for a retired couple to handle. The blower is also used for outbuilding cleanup, equipment drying after washing; pretty much gets used every week. I run all small engines on non ethanol fuel with Stihl HP Ultra oil. This blower starts with one pull, and has zero problems in the ... read more past year. Purchased at Superior Saw, Holt, Michigan; an excellent sales and service operation.

    Great little blower.
I like that it is lightweight and starts on the first pull. I wish it had a little more blowing power like the Husqvarna I used. I use it all the time now because of its low maintanence and ease of starting and use: Cleaning pine neadles off the driveway. +5 Blowing gravel into potholes. +1 Starting bonfires. +5 Cleaning out the garage. +5 Blowing out the car after dusty drives. +5 Cleaning up leaves and grass clippings. +4 Blowing mud out of trench +2 Overall I am very happy ... read more with it, is small light and easy to use.

    This products has useful features.
Due to the season, I have not used the unit extensively, but the unit has performed well to this point. My initial use felt as though the unit was under powerd; however, after I purchased the flat nose tube, it seems to blow with more force. After the unit is converted to the vacuum, it suctions so well that the fairly small bag that cathes yard debris fills rather quickly. Aside from the above, this is a good product.

    Excellent tool!
This vacuum is an awesome tool. We use it a lot to clean up plant trimming, weeds, leaves, etc. in our greenhouses. It puts almost anything it can pick up right through. Highly recommended!

    Great two in one product
Both blower side and vac side work great. Bag could be bigger, maybe a backpack style bag with a larger capacity. I have a large mature oak trees and works great in and around the flower beds. However, it does not like the acorns. I have a lot of Sthil products, two chain saws, a weed trimmer, and now the blower vac. Great long lasting products.one of my chain saws is 42 years old and still works great. I'd like to see Sthil make a good snow blower . I highly recommend this product.

    Not Bad
Just bought this today and used it immediately. Once you get used to starting this, it will start with one pull. Took me several attempts to get the hand of things (read your manual). The shredded leaves are VERY small and desirable in consistancy. It did plug three times from ingesting a wine cork (burp) and some small twigs. It was powerful enough to lift some small river rocks. The blower is great. It took care of moving several years of leaves stuck under three cars (unlike my Weedeater ... read more GBI 30V - but hey - the Stihl has a larger engine) Overall rating: 4.5 stars

This is my second one of this exact model
Starts quickly every time. Shredder is vulnerable to damage when vacuuming around small rocks, but is powerful. Works well when held in right hand, but is not intended to be used on left side of body as is sometimes necessary. I use it year round; even in the winter to blow light snowfalls from sidewalks. Wish it had the ability to extend the blower attachment even longer for some jobs. If this one wears out, I will buy another one just like it as a replacement.

    Love it!
I'm in love with this blower. I have a BG-56 gasoline blower and I bought the BGA-56 to use to dry vehicles and clean out the garage but it has quickly replaced the gas. It is so easy to grab this blower and take off. No gasoline smell on your clothes and no noisy motor. Plenty of power and the quality is sthil all the way.

    Excellent blower
Got tired of gas blower not starting at the beginning of season due to gummed up gas lines. I have a fairly large lot with a pool, long driveway and sidewalk. I can blow off everything without needing a recharge.

This blower has changed my life!
I am a petite 5'4", 112# lady and the size, weight & convenience of this blower is perfect for me. I actually enjoy using it and do so almost daily as I live in heavily wooded lot w/ lots of leaves. Very light-weight and no cords or gasoline with which to mess. Powerful enough to blow heavy wet leaves out of a river rock drain. Battery only lasts ~20 minutes but that is plenty of time for me to blow garage, deck and patio areas. Also, battery is easy and quick to charge ~1 hour. You can always ... read more buy a second one to have on hand fully charged too. Just LOVE this blower. Now plan to explore more battery options from Stihl.

    Efficient gutter cleaning system
I run my own small lawn and landscape business doing various jobs such as mowing, edging, weedeating, flowerbed cleanups, as well as other odds and ends for my customers. This year I decided to do fall gutter cleaning to allow my work flow to remain steady up until winter time. The Stihl gutter cleaning kit was very easy to assemble and operate. It is well worth the money as it takes out the hassle of having to move ladders around the home to reach the gutters. The gutter cleaning kit will pay ... read more for itself in no time and like all of my other Stihl products, it's top notch.

    Works as advertised
This thing keeps me off the roof. Recently cleaned out a wet, heavy, packed drop of leaves with little problem. Did wear a hat but if you watch the wind direction and the orientation that you're blowing you don't get hit by very much. I peeked and the gutters are CLEAN: no leaves, sticks or even shingle gravel. On a calm day some leaves wil settle on the roof to blown out again a different day. I haven't had any problem with the elbows coming off, but they occasionally hang up in the gutter and turn a bit.

    A reserved recommendation
Product works well, except the tubes are a little too thin. I had to take the kit back to the store after the bottom tube failed. I had cleaned the gutters for maybe 30 minutes before the tube buckled. Dealer replaced the failed tube and I was able to finish cleaning my gutters.

    It's a stihl !!!!
I purchased the BG 86 this morning from the local Stihl dealer. He poured fuel into the tank and it started on the second pull. I got it home and it again started on the second pull. I used it for half an hour to move a lot of pine needles and leaves. It was comfortable to use, didn't kick to one side like my old Craftsman that was only 3 years old and stopped running. Hopefully this blower will continue to work as well as my Stihl chainsaw, grass trimmer and hedge trimmer have.

    Great Blower
I purchased this blower 3 years ago for fall leaf cleanup and general homeowner use. It gets used at least once a week for cleaning grass clipping from garage, driveway and street. One of the things I appreciate about the blower is that it starts very easily. When the engine is cold, I can always start the blower with three pulls. The blower idles well and has a lot of power for moving leaves and debris-even when wet. I've read other reviews about hard starting and rough running but honestly, ... read more I have had no such issues. I am very pleased with this blower and have had zero issues.

    Perfect for my yard
My son has a backpack blower that is to big for my yard. I have 5000 sq. ft. to use a blower on. My son has 1 1/2 acres. His blower is a BR 500. Brought the blower home and gave it a try. Much to my surprise this is more than enough power. Possibly more than I need. Every thing Stihl says it is and more. I am going back today and get the gutter attachment because I do not like getting up to the roof. Easy start, loads of power, and easy to use. I have always believed spend the money for ... read more quality, you get what you pay for. Great value for the money
